The reason she had so much energy after Emily got out of work is because Amber sleeps all day and stays up all night. Emily should have made her stand and walk for 12 hours a day (like nurses do) and then tell her she would take her to Walmart (and walk, not ride a scooter) if she wanted to.

The abuse accusations that would arise from that would be quite the sight... basically a war crime. Ambers still recovering from having to milk at dinner time 20 years ago.

If Amber really was so bored sitting in her house, why couldn't she take an Uber and do things alone.

We've already done the math, amber. Can't easily fit in an Uber so she won't do it. Can't close the door all the way without help and/or won't buy a seat belt extender so the driver won't accept an unsafe fat rider. I also believe with her being about 5 feet around she cant get her spherical girth onto public transit.
