As easy as it is to get a license, it takes determination and motivation in order to actually go out and get a permit, drive the certain amount of hours with an adult in the passenger seat, take the test and pass... Edit: forgot how old AL was. Nonetheless, from personal experience, I completely get being anxious about driving. I especially get the anxiety of having to take the driving test. However, unless you have some type of crippling phobia, it's definitely not impossible to overcome your fear and pass. It'll just take more practice, discipline and motivation than the average person. By just looking at AL, it's obvious to see that she lacks discipline and motivation

For her to drive at 500 lbs and 5'3", she'd need both tilt and telescoping steering wheel, adjustable foot pedals, and a car without a center console. She'd have to move the seat far back and tilt it, which makes driving more dangerous for a short person.

She'll need to research which car she can actually fit into before doing a test drive. And before testing, she needs a license and ID.

It's not gonna happen, too much work.

It was interesting to hear that she "couldn't" say what kind of cancer her mom has. Was it because she doesn't understand it, or can't pronounce it? Or she wants to create drama?

If her mom has metastatic breast cancer, that's incurable. Many people still live years before they die. Unfortunately, many don't. So it's time for AL to decide if she wants to make peace with her mom or not.

She's over 18 though, she doesn't need a permit lol. I specifically waited to get my license until I was 18 for this exact reason. It never made sense to go through all the extra hoops and pay more for insurance when they just let you walk in when you're old enough. Literally all you have to do when you're 18+ is go in, say you want a license, take the test, take the driving test, you have a license. It can be done in one day if you go early enough. There's no determination or motivation needed at all. I downloaded a fucking app and studied for a few days a week before I wanted to go in lol don't gotta make it seem like it's so hard. She's just lazy and people enable her by driving her everywhere. If people stopped hanging out with her and letting her verbally manipulate/guilt them she could get a license in a week.

I doubt she can fit in the front seat of a regular 4 door car, because as it stands now she always sits in the back of her friends' small cars. She literally made a big deal out of Destiny's new car because it was surprisingly big enough for her to fit her humongous girth in the front. At the very least she would be in extreme discomfort/pain if she stuffed herself in the driver's seat of a regular car.

Any sort of specialty car would be out of her price range. I honestly doubt she's even making minimum wage with her online bullshit. Also, being morbidly obese is different from a usual handicap-- it's a matter of literally fitting in the first place.

I'm usually a bleeding heart when it comes to family effected by breast cancer as my mum had stage 3 breast cancer and it's a horrible thing. You feel totally helpless no matter how much you do for them because ultimately your care means nothing if the cancer doesn't fuck off.
...Except I don't know anyone effected by cancer who would boo hoo about it on a paid platform. Maybe she does have sad feels about her mother but she has a funny way of dealing with it.

Even if she reaches the pedals her giant fupa and inability to control her leg motion because of it will really make her a danger. You can't drive with your gigantic stomach sitting in your lap. She is a good 100 lbs+since driving around the Wal-Mart parking lot. If you can't fit in the front passenger seat how well are you going to fit in the driver's seat?
Also she probably won't ever be able to afford to pay for any special type of vehicle at her present level of earnings.

well, those who are around her weight and little less than 600lb seem to be able to move a little, they have a hard time just like her but they still can make few steps at least those few episodes I've seen cause I have a really hard time watching it. Thanks for the kind words. We were very lucky the doctors caught it in time, it had spread to her lymph nodes and was on the verge of going metastatic. Thankfully the chemo and radiotherapy combined with surgery was effective and she's been cancer free for 10 years.

I'm not sure why Amber is withholding information about her mother's cancer. I know that when I was going through that I didn't want to share with people so normally I'd be understanding of her reluctance to speak but since she has no trouble mentioning it on YouNow and in monetised YouTube videos I'm not sure why she can't just say 'she has X stage breast cancer. She is having x treatments. That's all I'm willing to say, but thank you to everyone who has given their support.'
I'm guessing that if her mother's had it for 3 years she probably doesn't have stage 4 cancer. Maybe 3, although treatment is quite aggressive (or was in my mum's case) and I'd have thought the cancer would have been obvious if she was getting radiotherapy or chemo. It makes me suspect she might be stage 1 or possibly 2, and she doesn't need the more intensive treatments. If that's the case the cynic in me says Amber wouldn't want to tell everyone it's 'only' stage 1 or 2 because it would mean less pity and attention. Pretty sick if she's really doing that.

It also reminds me of people who do the MY COUSIN HAS CANCER I NEED YOUR PRAYERS thing when all that's up is the person getting a tiny pre-cancerous mole removed. Cancer is cancer, though, and I hope her mother is doing well and beats it, whatever stage it is.

Yeah, I really can't help but dislike Dustin on a similar level to my dislike for Al herself. She wasn't just a sped petting an animal a little too hard, she slapped that puppy on the nose as punishment for its puppy behaviour. She and Dana are both complicit in animal hoarding.

I appreciate the tea on Amber but I don't think it negates the bad stuff we know about her. A few weeks ago people found out that Dana had 2 dogs six months ago and as of Destiny moving in she had no dogs. Dana admitted to not 'having the time' to take a new puppy to the vet over the span of an entire month, leading to the dog's death from parasites and malnutrition. She and Destiny adopted 3 puppies (at least one at an age where it had no business being sold) in the span of a month. No matter how much tea Dana spills I'm not going to be okay with her, I can't get past animal cruelty.
No doubt Dana has been more reasonable and mature in this situation, but ALL of the people in Amber's circle are fucked up in some way or another. Dana isn't an exception.

They sure are fucked up and more than in one way, all of them.
I felt disgusted too with that video of the puppy. The worst part for me was D handling Rarity from her tiny arms swinging her left and right like a fucking heartless 4 year old and then Al taking Rarity away from D and literally throwing her back on the bed or somewhere without even looking laughing amused. I've seen them both numerous times in the past how they would pick up their cats and how they would handle or put them back down... all with zero delicacy. So yes when it comes to animals they're both disgusting for a lot of reasons and they definitely don't deserve to have any. Especially big Al though, who has constantly made sure with all her non stop bs to present herself like the most sensible one when it comes to animals. While i consider D just stupid and I would take her animals away, to me Al belongs to another level of species, I wouldn't take only her animals away from her but also every human being she knows and internet so she can't manipulate and use other people anymore.
