I've noticed every now and then, via her Social blade page, she randomly gets 1000 subs added. It's never really a consistent growth. It's never really any other denomination, it's always 1000. My guess is she buys subs to make it appear her sub count is growing organically, and she spaces out when she buys them to not make it look obvious. Maybe someone with a premium account there that can look back at past months/years can confirm that. It's just something I've noticed. She barely posts, or does anything, so why would she get any new subs, especially in denominations of 1000 at a time?
 
Is Amber taking the videos down herself or is YouTube doing it?

If it's YouTube doing it, lol she must be spinning around in crisis right now.

Love that for her.

Socialblade rounds the number up after a certain number of subs. I'm not saying she isn't buying subs but socialblade is no proof that she does either.

You see the same thing with other larger (lol) youtubers.

Correct. Socialblade used to show a real-time subscriber count (including an actual counter, so you could watch channels tank in real time!), but this hasn't been the case in several years.
 
I think she has been suspended and demonetised - so many channels have had the same thing happens because of TOS -
Self harm and videos containing eating disorders are crashing - that is Amber's entire channel

The Membership link and Super Thanks still work, so not demonetized...yet.

Upbeat posted an update in the same reddit thread. I do wonder how youtube reviews this videos and by what criteria. Some weigh ins are only restricted and others are removed.

YouTube abbreviates public subscriber numbers over 1k, so it only shows the three leading digits. So if you have more than 100k subscribers, you will only see changes in increments of 1k. They started doing it back in 2019.

She might have gotten a strike against her channel that prevents her from livestreaming. Not saying that it is for sure the case because she would have probably whined about it but she did reopen her community tab for a brief second but turned it off

I can still see it. I think our best indicator of monetization is if you can join for a membership or not since that is something youtube disables when you lose monetization. Even with a temporary one.

Would be nice to see her miss out on the December payout, just imagine the desperate raging streams in January in an attempt to make up for it 🤩.

Edit: the community thing is a mobile app only feature, maybe that's why you're not able to see it.

I think she can still monetize her channel. I just think she can't livestream so she could only do uploaded videos and is just deciding to wait for vlogmas. Maybe just avoid doing anything that loses monetization and take the hit. I am pretty sure you can't upload anything longer than 15 minutes with strikes on your channel so she should be fine just waiting it out
 
Her community tab maneuver is a move to distract from her livestreams. I think, judging by the number of hits, she has 1 or 2 strikes. If she has 2, then she cannot go live for 90 days.

The issue is due to amount of flagging, YouTube would review her channel by person, and judge if it is fit for monetization. This is where she would be fucked. Another issue is that the more videos that get hit, the more it affects her visibility
 
I checked social blade today, saw 2 more videos down and minus 2.5 million views, and still not a peep from her, seems odd.
