But she really wanted gall bladder surgery back in the day... I think she's afraid of not being able to eat what she wants.

There was a lady on 600lblife that cried because she missed food so much. Would AL really be able to give up her drug and her best friend? That's probably terrifying to her. What kind of life would that leave her with? And not to mention the years of discomfort while she loses. One could only hope she'd be motivated by the encouragement of the scale and her friends.

Amberlynn on a surgical weight loss journey would still be just as entertaining, I'd love to see her rubbing in her weight loss to Dana and Destiny, and giving more shitty advice, buying ugly clothing, and doing things instead of sitting in her room.

I'm pretty sure you also have to lose a certain amount of weight beforehand so that the surgery itself won't be potentially fatal. As much as I'd like her to get better, we've all seen how the queen of moderation is doing now. I'm pretty sure no doctor would touch her at this point due to the risks. It's just not going to happen at this rate.

She had mentioned in a previous vlog that she was ready to have gallbladder surgery to take it out right then and there, was practically demanding it of those "lazy doctors" so we know she's not afraid of having surgery...

They have a risk of heart attack five times higher than the regular population, plus a high risk for infection and their wounds not healing. Doctors wont do a non-essential operation on a person more than 100 lbs overweight.

To get weight loss surgery, Amber would have to lose weight on her own first to show she can do it, plus have a bunch of tests on her heart-see if she has diabetes, etc. And she'll need therapy. She uses food to medicate and when people can't do that anymore, they sometimes become drug addicts or alcoholics. I can just see Amber doing that-the way she drinks now it wouldn't be a big jump.

Not only would she have to lose weight first, she'd have to show she can stick to her post-surgery diet even before surgery. She'd have to be committed to exercising multiple times a week. Waddling into Ross doesn't count as exercising. She couldn't just eat less of things- she'd have to entirely change how she eats. Starches like rice and potatoes aren't recommended. Neither is corn because it's hard for the body to digest. No soda, especially because it can stretch the digestive tract to pre-surgery sizes. She'd be at huge risk of infection with the incision sites being pulled apart by her fat rolls, and poor circulation isn't going to help with the healing process either. She can hardly wipe her ass, how will she keep her surgery wounds clean? There's a huge risk of blood clots, especially in her legs. Honestly, I think AL doesn't have a chance even with WLS. She doesn't have the dedication and she doesn't have any real support system. At this point, her only hope would be to be completely yanked out of her current life and to be put in some residential weight loss rehab where she's literally babied through the steps of weight loss but even then that's a stretch. AL is dreaming.

Seeing as she's so adverse to going to the doctor, the chances of her going to get WLS is very slim (no pun intended). You actually need to have a doctor and do regular check-ups and whatnot before even being considered for that.

I don't believe AL thinks she has hit rock bottom. That in and of itself is terrifying. She justifies her actions with "hey, I can still move so I'm doing great!" I think AL is waiting to hit her idea of "rock bottom" before making any kind of weight loss effort.

When you really think about it, someone is enabling her behind the scenes. She doesn't have access to food without a driver, and she's always complaining her kitchen is bare. She SHOULD be dropping weight from the sheer fact that she's not eating Texas Roadhouse 3x a day, but she just keeps getting more round.

I am also 100% convinced she is a cam girl. She doesn't give a shit about consistent uploads and younows because she has another income source. She's downplaying her income because she doesn't want people to get suspicious and find her out.

She gets the attention she wants as the "500 lbs addict" and we get to see her tell her sob story about her life and how her girlfriend raped her and that her aunt hates her because she's fat. She'll probably think she's the next CashMeOutside girl and he'll probably end up sending her to some fat camp or even pay for her surgery.
