I had to stop watching the younow. It was making me nauseous, watching her make excuses for why she won't WRITE A LETTER (which she's been writing for over a month) to her sick mother.
To use "my mom missed visits when I was 13!!!!" as an excuse not to write the woman who gave you life a single letter when she's sick and in prison?
She has ZERO self awareness about how deep her narcissism runs. It's one thing to make excuses into the 500 pound club, but to make excuses on livestream for an hour straight about why she called her "gay hating" dad (after talking about how hard it was cause he called someone a faggot in front of her) but needs Becky's help to write her mom a letter... AND people were like "yes preach girl you don't owe her ANYTHING". Damn.

-Says the hate she is getting is extremely unjust because she believes the reason people are hating on her is because she stopped recording her weight loss journey.
-You don't know anything about her life because she doesn't film everything that happens. She has started writing a letter to her mother but hasn't sent it yet. Becky is coming over to help her write the letter.
-She weighs 469 but then gained 5lbs on her period. Oh by the way, her period is BAD.
-Asked people for the millionth time what they want to see in her videos, grunts in sarcastic laughter at request to do bathing suit try ons.
-Bursts into tears because she doesn't know what to tell her mother and because she doesn't know how to be the parent. It should be up to the parent to be the parent, not her.
-Says she is very sensitive and kind, would never stir up drama or be the tea-spiller. Says she does not understand how people can start doing that after they have been wronged and she has never/would never do this. Says all the drama surrounding her has been spilled by friends, not her.
-Says she doesn't lie. That the coming out to her father video was not a lie and that she has no alt accounts. Says it would be easier to just say that everything was a lie.
-Something happened between Sharla but she doesn't want to spill tea on the circumstances. "Let's just say we drifted apart"
-A lot of drama with her Aunt but I believe people already talked about it (have not had a chance to read through recent comments in detail).

See, my feeling is that I totally would not blame her for never wanting contact with her family again. I'm sure she's embellished her past at least a little, but if it's even half true then her parents sound like terrible people.

BUT this fake shit needs to stop. It's typical ALR to want to have your cake and eat it too. She wants to pretend she's benevolent and that she's forgiven her parents but she doesn't want to make a sincere effort if she can't easily show it on video.

If you consider how much angry and frustrated she's able to make people watching her from a screen just immagine how awful she must be in real life whenever someone doesn't jump when she wants them to jump. She said she lost it after her last video and also Al never responding to her calls but trying to manipulate her over texts.
Al has talked so much worse about members of her family and her aunt for views and sympathy and we only know what she says on top of knowing how manipulative and lying she is. I'm very glad for her inteverntion honestly, this girl is playing with fire for a very long time, she needs to hit rock bottom.

Yeah, I can get that too. My views have a lot to do with my own shit, and I'm always on that "be the better person cause then at least you have less regrets"
But what you said is 100% right. She wants the sympathy for the "trauma" she went through, the pats on the back for still caring about her mother, and the "acceptance" of her laziness as "it's just too haaaaaaard".
It's too big of a cycle to seem genuine for me.
