Just wanna say I hope your sister is doing okay (I don't know her name, I'm sorry). AL said in the video linked above that you write her all the time, is it difficult to do so? AL said on YouNow just yesterday that they are super strict about what pens and paper you can use and that makes it really hard for her to write her mom. I used to write to death row inmates as a hobby and I don't remember it being that ridiculous, so I kind of smell bullshit, unless your sister is Magneto I guess.

As i learned I wanted to share with her , teach her , support her ... see continually made excuse after excuse ... lie after lie .. I was spinning wheels and getting no where with her . I caught her lying about being able to take her lunch to work because I was explaining how she has to take responsibility for her food choices , prepare in advance , make your lunches and take it , she went on to explain a million reasons why she couldn't instead of ways she could soOOOoooo I finally had enough and called her job and posed as a potential interested employee and asked some questions :
" If I was to become employed with your company , is their a place when I can store my lunch because I am only a very strict diet and I want to make sure I will have that option "

Of course the girl told me " Yes "
Like what workplace " doesn't allow" you to bring your lunch to work ????

I confronted Amber and she went as far as to quickly right with a marker on a piece of white paper and put on her workplace wall and took picture to try and prove her case.

Well you see I am smarter than the advantage bear and so I told her I wasn't stupid and she could easily have just done that for show ... long story shirt I busted her lying again .. I believe a couple days later there was a video same room same set up , but no note posted anymore ...

After she damaged my trust repeatedly , it become impossible to believe what she was telling me most times , on top of all the head games and her own self destructive behavior, it became to much to deal with.

Soooo did I leave Amber because she was FAT !? Hell NO !!!!
I detached because she became toxic and self destructive and I was becoming a hamster in a hamster wheel .

Amber's always quick to say it took me until I was in my 40's to " figure it out " to lose my weight " and I use to say " Yes it did , but thats the great thing YOU DON'T HAVE TO "

I only have two questions so far. First of all, have you ever supported Amberlynn financially while she was making youtube videos and calling it her "full time job"? A lot of us find it really hard to believe that she can support herself solely on sporadic videos without any assistance. (I guess this adds on to Barbarella's first question).

And secondly, what are your views on Amberlynn's relationships-- with Krystle, with Destiny, and with Becky? From your point of view do you consider them to be manipulative relationships where her first priority is getting herself taken care of? You know her more than we do, so I'm curious to hear your opinion on whether you believe she really loved any of her girlfriends like she claims.

• According to her from YouTube and YouNow , no government assistance that I have been aware of. I have no way of knowing at this point.

• My Sister is in prison due to a lifetime of drug addiction and choices and consequences as a result of her addictions.
• Amber's father has been in and out of jail but as far as I know never prison. Reasoning ? Same

• Yes, My sister has cancer. No it is not breast cancer. I do not wish to go into detail around type nor stage of cancer she has. Yes she is able to receive treatment despite being in prison.

Why won't Amber write her?

• I honestly don't know the real answer, puzzles my mind. For so long she would talk about doing anything to talk with her mom , have a relationship with her etc... when she was homeless !
• Then I find my sister , I put them back in contact .. ( story in itself) and Amber would make my Sister feel so bad and guilty or ask questions repeatedly that my sister would tell her she had no answers to herself , it caused my sister to continue talking to me and not Amber as often . Amber would get jealous and I would try and explain why. We would try another time and Amber would do the same thing over and over , it's like she can't help self sabotage.
• At one point , I believe during the time she was moving she used the excuse of not having paper or a pen ( you guys would love that text receipt ) I even said I'm sure her job wouldn't mind giving her a piece of paper and a pen to write her mom if she couldn't bring herself to purchase the needed items , I even suggested starting off small .. a simple card " thinking of you " Love Amber .. guess she wasn't worth the 42 cents of postage
• It boggles my mind , it truly does

• My first reaction would be upbringing and influences growing up, but when does that stop being a reason and become an excuse. I picked up some bad habits and behaviors due to my parents or lack there of too , but then comes a time when you learn right from wrong and its so much easier to just tell the truth!

I do write my sister and put money on her books. I have always loved my sister and tried to help as much as I could . Yes there was a time when her addiction made it so I had to protect myself and my family ( My children and grandchildren ) Amber couldn't understand that I had to set boundaries and learn to be assertive and strong enough to keep them firm. Amber always wanted more from me
And yes its hard! extremely ...She is my only Sister

As far as how strict they are regarding paper and pens : I had a major ( text ) conversation with Amber explaining the guidelines WHEN she was county jail . That was years ago and she knows the guidelines and its nothing super surprising ... no magic marker , only 8 blank sheets per envelope , no stickers , etc ...
Recently she had my daughter ask me for visitation paperwork for the prison my Sister is at .... I just laughed and gave it to her , she can't write or send a simple card but now she's gonna travel long distance to visit ?? Highly doubtful!

Amber only lived with me a few months and that was when she was 17 and just turned 18, No she did not work.
I honestly can't say how many total years , I know they were in foster care off and on for years.
I know Amber and Tony's last foster family was heaven sent but Amber of course will tell you different , I did not personally know any of them .. One time her Aunt ( father sister) was going to get them but her drug habit prohibited that as well.

I have never supported Amber financially.
I think Amber is a manipulative opportunist.
To me Amber would always speak only good things regarding her relationships , until they were over then the real truth came out.

Thank you very much for taking time to answer each of our questions. I find it incredulous that she has time, paper, and pens to write crappy poems and faff around with adult coloring books, but keeps hemming and hawing about writing to the mother she cried about in a (monetized) video.

It's interesting that she asked for the paperwork to visit, but honestly I agree with you, that's as far as that will go.
