Yes weed can make you feel chemical hunger, especially the first times and she doesn't need any other help with that nor is alcohol something she should consume obviously. I think this time she found the worst enabling environment she could find.
If with D she still acted like she was trying and D wanted her to drop weight cause that's how she always portray herself during their relationship with this people she doesn't even act anymore that's why she probably says they make her happy and feels good. It's probably because she doesn't feel judged or like she has to do something about her weight or how bad she eats.

As for the relationship with her parents, well no one is forcing her, she's the one to keep talking and acting like she cares. She's the one who has made videos about it, saying how she loves them andloves her mother to death, asking strangers to pray for her yet she doesn't have a pen to write to her mother just a ''Hello/I love you/I'm praying for you'' or as she said once ''to much forms to be filled out''.
I find her behavior regarding her mother very sad. I have no respect for someone who uses her family for sympathy and to make herself seem like this good person but then doesn't do anything of what a good hearted person would do. There are strangers who feel more sad and worried about her mother than Amberlynn herself, I don't even understand at this point what kind of human being she is.

I never said she was motivated, lol. She has the faintest traces of motivation, like to do her stupid eyeliner and write her junk story/poetry, film and upload videos (more and more infrequently). That's been crumbling over the last few months. She's uploading less, she's openly given up on her 'journey' (lesbereal, she gave up on that a long time ago), she's getting lazier and less motivated by the day. It seems like the only thing that can motivate her at all now are those YouNow bars.

When she started dating Destiny she was vlogging pretty frequently, even if she would combine like a week of vlogs into one video.

I dunno, it might be spergy of me to think it but she seemed much happier back in those early Dustin days. I may be mistaking happiness for smugness, though. I think vlogmas is when it really started to unravel, since 100presentsgate was obviously a last ditch attempt to stay with Dustin.

When AL and Destiny first started dating, D was all about the vlogs. The two of them in the early days were so uncomfortably TMI on camera, it was truly cringeworthy.

Holy crap! I had no idea Dustin was at this point. I don't think it's AL's fault. They were bad influences on each other. Clearly Dana is super mo as well. This weight is on Dustin (pun totally intended). Quality of life for these girls is dropping as we write!

Looking back on the old vlogs, Al was horrible to Dustin.

Sly insults. Always bragging about how she beat Dustin at everything. Telling her off. Making faces when she thought Dustin wasn't looking. Sitting in the car to vlog while Dustin ran her errands for her. There was one vlog where Al was doing nothing as usual and screeched that food on the oven was burning. As opposed to getting her fat ass up, she just yelled and pointed.

Al's mistake was that her tendency to turn a romantic relationship into one of carer and patient went into overdrive too quickly. She settled at warp speed into turning Dustin into her servant / slave and Dustin was having none of that after a while.

Plus, Dustin was way too young when they got together. It was never going to be a forever thing.
