Also, on the topic of books AND on my previous question from a few pages ago about "what is the weirdest lie that ALR has told that you just can't understand"...

She mentioned in a video that "once I finish reading a book, I give it away so someone else can read it" yada yada, right? Like a sort of "pay it forward" thing, only with literature. But the thing about that is, not only is she such a hoarder thay I sincerely doubt she'd give away books even if she loved reading... because we already know she has an obsession with hoarding DVDS because she's too lazy to rent them two separate times if she wants to watch it twice in the space of 6 months, so why give books away if you loooooove them so much?

She tells all this weird lies that I think she assumes makes her look quirky or benevolent or "different" but they're all just so dumb and don't match up with anything else she says or does.

I think I remember seeing this mentioned a few dozen pages back in the thread that the people you associate yourself with and the environment you grow up in does influence how you talk/act/speak/write. Yes. But so does what you read.

The more you read, and the more genres and levels you read in, it starts to influence your vocabulary, your writing style, everything. Hell, even those cliche, dime-a-dozen YA novels meant for 13 year old girls that she's obsessed with can be, at the very least, well-written from a grammatical and semantic standpoint, even if the book itself is cliche and boring.

Her overall lexicon and general writing style sounds like 3rd-grade level reading material, so she either just hoards books for material's sake (which is likely knowing her) or all she actually reads is Judy Blume and whoever wrote that Bailey School Kids series.

I don't mean to insult people's intelligence or anything, because I hate the notion that how much you read dictates how smart you are, but it pisses me off that she tries to tell me she loves reading when she says shit like "ambalance" and "pitchure" and recycles the same five adjectives.

I believe she once said in a video that she just gets books for her bookshelf based on if the cover is pretty or not. I can't remember what video though. Sorry. It was an old one from when she was with Destiny.

I think I know what you're talking about, but it was referencing a specific book. I don't think she was referencing all books. Though, I wouldn't put it past her to pick books based on how eye-catching the cover is rather than the actual synopsis.

Because AL is so qualified to speak about anxiety disorders. Even if she does have an anxiety disorder, it's been years since she's seen a doctor for anything. If she did decide to break character, stop whining, and fix some of her self-inflicted problems instead of just seeking sympathy, her psychiatrist/psychologist would likely stress how important it is for her to actively push herself out of her comfort zone and do things that lightly aggravate her anxiety. No mental health professional would recommend using relatively mild mental illness (she's had a job, a "thriving" social life, and shares embarrassing details of her life to 30k+ strangers shamelessly, all while not treating her "anxiety disorder") as a crutch to avoid important aspects of life. No therapist or psychiatrist would just say, "Oh, okay then. You say driving gives you anxiety, so just don't. Avoid everything that makes you uncomfortable."

The "I have problems but I don't want solutions" look is not a good one, AL.

Maybe more or maybe I'm getting the Florida place and this one confused. Regardless I know how much I pay for my one bedroom and her having a town home she has GOT to be paying more than what I pay.

I believe she said her rent was $1100 iirc. Then in her own words she spends about $400 food, let's say another $300 in utilities like water, gas, electric, then she has her cell phone which will put at $100, its probably much higher than that and let's do another $200 for stuff like toilet paper, shampoo, cat and dog food we are already over $2000 a month and I feel like I was lowballing it. That's not leaving much room for shopping and entertainment. She's either not paying her bills or she's lying about how much she's making and spending. For someone who is called a human calculator you'd think she would've thought out that answer before giving it and exposing yet another lie.
