I think that AL probably manipulated Becky into isolation. I do think that Becky is a dummy for letting that happen though. I don’t know if Amber hits her...yet. She hit Kasey, Kasey says she told her that she hit Krystal, and when Destiny’s mom was told about the Kasey rape video she said something along the lines that she learned from it all that her biggest fear was confirmed. The way some of you treat/talk about Becky is so bizarre to me. Not only is she an adult who whillingly entered into a relationship with Amber but she’s done absolutely nothing to set boundaries and maintain her life after Amber moved in. Not only that - she enables Amber and she herself has a history of using her girlfriends for money. The mentality surrounding her like she has to be protected and like she just accidentally started dating Amber as if she has no agency and no blame in this is so wild. She’s just as much of an lolcow as anyone else on the farms in reality I mean look at who she lives with (Eric and Rickie are weird low key cows too) and what she does. I don’t see her eating separately from Amber, or encouraging Amber to walk and stop vlogging and to see a doctor, etc.

I see Becky that way too. Everyone seems to love her. She could have really low self esteem though... lezbereal she is ugly but I guess she is supposed to be the butch. She might look alot better if she lost weight and some of that chin/neck thing. Maybe it doesn't matter that much in lesbian relationships. She said one time she doesn't believe the comments being nice about her. AL probably helps her feel more like crap (if that is the case).

Being with AL for the money? People said she can only be pulling in 12k-24k a year from youtube. Then she quit her job claiming haters called her job but it was never mentioned in her videos. Does Becky have health insurance since she isn't working/getting it through work? Everyone is worried about AL, but what about Becky? Wouldn't she tell AL she needs health insurance? To file taxes (since YT is her money now too)? I don't know- there isn't too much out there on Becky besides what's shown by AL.

Amber and Becky have a sick, codependent relationship. Like Onision and Lainey. A narcissist, with a passive/aggressive one who is happy to manipulate a narc.

I think Amber is a huge cunt and I think Becky knows how to handle her. Amber is not isolating Becky. They live with another couple who don’t even like Amber and who would help Becky instantly (and have probably already offered it.) They go out with Destiny and Dana, and Becky now vlogs. They see Becky’s family. No isolation there.

Becky has made a choice, with eyes open. She wants to be with this fat bitch, for whatever reason. She’s no weak innocent girl, especially not because of some minor Valentines day BS which only teens care about anyway. She enjoys the idea of having somebody who will never leave her,(which is why people get with fatties) and who buys her stuff. She’s happy to make sure Amber stays as fat as she wants to because as a thumb in KY she’s not going to even find many women.

We’ve seen a nicer side of Becky because of the kids and family background. We hated Dustin at first but ended up feeling sad for her too-but turns out Dustin was capable of leaving -as is Becky. At this moment, she doesn’t want to and it’s not because of Amber’s control or meanness.

They are in this super sick relationship together. The only difference is Becky can wise up and get out and maybe make healthy choices. Amber is trapped with Amber forever.

This is gonna be unpopular, but i think a lot of the Becky sympathy, especially the YT comments, is that people regret seeing her as a very two-dimensional figure at the start and are backtracking cos they feel bad.

And although I agree with all you guys said, I think the fact we see more of her makes her strange connection to AL make sense. Between various unreliable narrators and what we see for ourselves, she's a depressed, lonely, not great-looking lesbian girl in a conservative state. Plenty of people can't handle the idea of being alone, especially if they think it's forever, and we've been told she may view AL as her "last chance." Of course, the simple fact is that nobody else can make you whole but that's the vibe we get from Becky and we can all-too-easily relate.

And she is in an uneven, abusive relationship and has given up all sovereignty which is fucking stupid. But that's how abusive relationships work - we may not like it, but the truth is the abused has to consent to the abuse on some level. We recognise how complicated it is and what a precarious position Becky has put herself in, and its kinda like screaming "don't do it" at a film screen. If we see someone being trodden down its normal to want to give them a hand up and out, regardless of their flaws. We recognise Becky needs help in a lot of ways, but its just as two-dimensional to see her as this perfect, sweet person or as a victim. Becky may have set her role as the caretaker, and don't a lot of us have friends that do that? Or done it ourselves? Its a pretty common aspect of human relationships.

Becky's a not very happy, not very smart girl with the illusion of pulling herself out of an abyss we all know she's heading into. I don't really know what to make of the queens, except they have a good bond with her so hopefully they'll pull her out when she signals. I disagree strongly with her behaviour towards Rafe and Hannah, but we also know what AL will have been like in her ear.

Dunno. Some of us are older, all of us are cynical as fuck. We just want to enjoy the show without feelzies, and Becky interrupts that because we see what a stone she's hanging round her neck. Regardless of what she was/is in it for, we recognise she's being outmanoeuvred and isolated. We can't do anything, but its understandable people want to signal positive things toward her even if they don't necessarily recognise the drive. And, lets face it, half the YT commenters, whether pro- or anti-AL, are nearly as dumb as she is. "You go guuurl" is all they have for Becky so that's what they throw out there. And its fucking useless.

(Inb4 anyone may get upset over being called cynical, not that i think many will. I'm English. Here, that's a compliment.)

Even though I do think Becky is a manipulative person who has gotten herself into this, I feel bad for her, because she's clearly got some self esteem issues that brought her to this level, and that's just sad.

If she wants to be with AL, nothing anyone on this board (or clearly, her friends or family) say is going to really make a difference or it would have in the last year; at least until Becky WANTS it to, because Becky sees it to an advantage to Becky.

Frankly, at this point it's just a matter of who wants out first, Becky or AL. Sort of like a Death Pool.

I highly doubt AL buys Becky "whatever she wants". I'd imagine for every 3 or 4 unnecessary purchases Amber makes, Becky gets to make 1 necessary purchase.

AL doesn't have as much money as she likes to pretend she does. If Becky really is with her for money, she's denser than Destiny was.

Becky is content with AL because it's low effort. Neither of the girls exhibit at desire to take charge of their lives and improve them. They could lose weight, but they don't want to put in the effort. They could have a job, or treat YouTube like a real job by improving the video/editing quality, but they don't want to put in the effort. They're both determined to take the path of least resistance and that means they're going to stay together until it's more effort than breaking up. But at this point they're so codependent that it would be a huge ordeal ending the relationship.

I agree with the rest of your post but I think it's a bit unfair to judge Becky for not being a driving force in AL's weight loss. Becky isn't healthy herself and therefore isn't really a fit supporter for someone trying to get healthy. Also Amber said it herself- you cannot make someone get help if they do not want it for themselves. Amber doesn't want help. Sure, in an ideal relationship one might push their partner to improve their wellbeing but AL and Becky do not have an ideal relationship by any means and like I said above, they want the path of least resistance.
