I think our gooorl may be the only person in the world who, in the event of a break-up, believes the one dumping her when they say "it's not you, it's me."
Watching her Destiny-left-me vid now is amazing. She really could not get her head round the fact Destiny - silly, speddy, goofy Destiny - was done with her. It HAD to be a problem with Destiny, that she was, for some incomprehensible reason, no longer dazzled by the magnificence of AL. And she probably will never get over Destiny because not only was it a massive smack to her ego, but she's never acknowledged WHY Destiny left. Just carried all the same baggage to Becky whilst telling herself a comforting lie about D "needing to work on herself" or somesuch Psych for Kindergarten tripe.
D going to Florida is probably devastating for her and it'll be worse if Dana goes too because then there's no way to rewrite the story to make it less of an ego bruise. She's kept up this ludicrous facade of a friendship but Destiny walked out on that too without giving it a second thought. AL always seems to be the dominant one in any relationship, but it's not the dominant who holds the real power. I don't know what she really thinks about Destiny but she thought she had power there and has been trying to shore it up ever since. It'll likely always be unfinished business for her because she can't control or guide it - Destiny just won't play, she wriggles out of every manipulative tactic lobbed at her.
Pretty amazing Destiny just slid out from under and AL has never been able to catch her since. That must buuuurn, cos she always came over as thinking herself superior to D. That might not be the case, but certainly Destiny just pulled the rug from right under her feet. Then rolled it up and fucked off with it!
Edited for; do you guys reckon she'll start mithering Becks to move to Florida? Then she gets to be near her "friend" with the added bonus it separates Becky from hers, therefore enforcing her ties to AL. Because about the only healthy thing Becky has done is maintain her family ties and keep the queens' friendship.
