Speaking of things we all see coming, I wonder what her story for the inevitable Beggarlynn saga will be. She'll never admit that she's feeling the pinch because views are down and her spending has remained absurdly high. So how's she going to try to pry money out of her hapless fans?

I'm betting that she'll start with making an appeal for her pets -- poor Twinkie is going to need unexpected, expensive vet care of some kind. Then it'll be her own health -- she'll humble herself enough to say that her viewers were right and she should have got insurance, but it's too late now, please help. And somewhere in there will be some vague, dramatic crisis that necessitates her and Becky moving on short notice, so times will be really tough and we should all chip in. After all, even if we hatewatch her, she's been providing us with free entertainment for years so it's only fair we support her in her hour of (poorly-defined) need.

I could be proven wrong about this, but I really don't see any way around it for her. There's no such thing as a wake-up call in Amberland.

As far as I recall from what I read here, there is no way in hell she's on the lease. The whale won't get an ID. She couldn't even sign a lease. I have no doubt the landlord is aware she's there, but she isn't on that lease, and this amuses me because if Rickie just says fuck it, and leaves, Eric/becky in tow or not. The place falls apart and the landlord will bring people to court.
