Shane Dawson lost approx. 300 pounds. He admitted that he wore one of his mother's old bathing suits under his regular clothing, to squeeze all of the loose skin against his body.
Depending on the doctor's specialty, some of them do prioritize people with insurance. The reason being that they can bill the insurance company for significantly more than a private pay person. Also, weight loss doctors(just like cosmetic surgeons)would never let anyone in without an appointment. Even if it was just for a consultation. Because those offices are very busy, and what they deal with isn't considered "immediately life threatening".
A therapist or psychologist might be willing to move things around for a patient in urgent condition, so they could get an appointment same or next day. I've seen that happen multiple times.
Tylenol 3 has codeine in it. It's a pretty common alternative to traditional "pain killers", given the extraordinary crack down on opiods in the U.S. For people with little to no tolerance to opiods, that medication can be somewhat helpful. I'm still of the mind that such a script would have been inhaled long ago, though.
Huh, Well then. But I concur, she likely has used up the script by now. If there was one <Or Becky did, or Mumbles etc..or Hamber never filled it>
I'm also skeptical that a doctor -- especially a cosmetic or weightloss surgeon -- would take on what is essentially a self-employed patient with no insurance. Even if she can prove she has money in her bank account (doubtful, I know) unless she has hundreds of thousands of dollars to cover any unforeseen complications/followups etc. she wouldn't be a great candidate financially, even if she was medically. It would be a bit irresponsible to take a patient like that, imo.
But what do I know?
I utterly agree that no one saw her because of her lack of insurance etc.
