I just don't get how these people reach these weights! Like... i'm in the same height range and i got a wakeup call when i started getting too close to 150. My 6 for father got a big wakeup call at 300 (way overweight, but had knee replacement, etc. Have been worried about his health for a while)

As I've said before i understand and am sympathetic to people who are a little overweight: it happens. But how did any of these short women hit 200lb, register as obese on the bmi, and think "Nah, i'm good. This is fine." Then go on to hit 250 and more.

I remember that Destiny weighed 200 lbs when she was with Amberlynn. She has gained weight, but not 100 pounds. She's maybe 250. Destiny is only like 5 feet tall, if she was 300+ pounds she would look a lot bigger.

I also think the Dana estimate of 470 is a bit much. Amberlynn was about 400 lbs when she and Destiny met. Dana doesn't look as big as AL was back then (although, she is significantly taller). I think Dana is high 300s, maybe 400.

I'd say Dana Shrek is about 300+. Dusty sped is probably about 270 because she's a short ass.

Yeah, no shit. It's the reason I follow amberlynn. I'm the one who has to remind my dad to walk because it's 99% lifestyle. I think we all follow lolcows we relate to on some level. Short version: Ever lowering personal standards.

Anyone who ever gave a shit about themself will of course begin to worry, and attempt to course correct when they wake up one day and realize they can't do X thing anymore, or they get some kind of health condition relating to their weight. A lot of people don't. Usually by a combination of poor education, poor parenting, poor stress coping mechanisms whatever.

They also tend to surround themselves with other land whales so they don't really have a firm grasp on what exactly a normal human's daily food intake is anymore. So as they lose mobility and functionality it just becomes "a thing that happens I guess" and every step further down the fat ladder just becomes routine, normal, expected.

I haven't watched 90% of Amber's videos but if the topic of mortality has ever come up, I would not be surprised at all if she thought dying at the ripe old age of 40 or 50 is perfectly normal and what happens to everyone, so why bother worrying about health.

She doesn't care. She'll pretend to care, if she's trying to garner sympathy but she really doesn't. Several times she has cynically thrown out there that "everybody dies." She has also said she knows she won't live to 60 (or was it 50, even?) I don't think it's false bravado I think she really doesn't care that she's not going to live to old age and I also don't think she cares that her life is so empty. As long as she has food and attention she's good.

She's just betting on dying painlessly in her sleep I guess? I'm sure she's afraid of suffering a serious complication from her obesity like stroke or beetus amputation. Not afraid enough to do anything about it apparently.

ah. that's about what i figured. She thinks it'll be all fun and cheesecake factory til she goes to bed comfy and cozy then doesnt wake up the next day. No sense of the reality that her organs are going to slowly shut down one at a time, leaving her a suffering, disgusting shell that wishes for the sweet release of death for several months/years before an incredibly painful heart attack finally grants her that one mercy.
