So I was on tumblr earlier just and a fat tik tok user popped up, his content was removed with no warning and it was not explicit, nude. I have a theory tik tok are purposely removing fat content users because they don't want fetishists and porn. The obese community especially on tumblr which is full of gainers and feeders made the platform toxic and because the age of tik tok. It may be a way to clean house.

Can't remember who it was, I think SomeOrdinaryGamers, who said that tiktok is pushing down the visibility of disabled people, the reasoning being to "protect them from big exposure to bullies" but in reality it's most likely because China sees disabled people as a bunch of braindead monkeys not deserving of human rights. What are the chances tiktok has an agenda against fat users because China doesn't like obesity?

This is awkward to say, but tiktok likes to keep a certain brand and image. And that image is mostly attractive young people doing goofball shit. It wants to be a cultivation of attractive teens doing stupid memes. So, it promotes that and suppresses other stuff. Of course everybody can use the platform. And accounts that don’t fit that get attention. But, 99 percent of the time, if you’re using tiktok you’re gonna be looking at teenagers meme-ing because tiktok wants to keep that brand. It wouldn’t surprise me if it’s being super hard on fattie accounts.

I just looked and that video is still on her account. Also as someone who’s used tik tok I will say that no, they do not just suppress or delete your vids because you’re fat and ugly. I saw plenty of fatties and uglies when I used it. In fact, it almost felt like I was always getting videos of 500+ lb women for body positivity. Videos get deleted if they break any of the rules they have in place. I know that they don’t hesitate to delete someone’s videos or ban them if they’ve been reported but I believe that’s because there’s so much content being uploaded on the app at any given moment. Yes teens primarily use the app but it definitely wasn’t what I was recommended.

Tik tok itself doesn’t monetize videos but I believe some people do sponsored content. Also a lot of youtubers go there to advertise their channel.

Exactly, and because she has been fat for almost her entire life (certainly as far back as she can remember) she doesn't even know what it's like to be thin. Her idea of being thin is when she lost the 89 elbees, because she is an idiot and that's the lightest she's ever been. Tik Tok does not monetize videos but it's easy to get sponsored and bolster your influencer career on the app, especially if you are a rich, conventionally attractive teenager from LA because that is the branding the company is going for. All live streams and videos are eligible for sponsorship by various companies or can be used for advertisement, and users with larger followings can utilize the app to increase engagement with monetized accounts on other platforms (IG, YouTube etc).
The app does not delete videos made by ugly, fat or disabled users, but it does suppress them so that they are less likely to gain sponsorships and followers. You're likely to see toothless, cringy fatasses on the app because they make up a large portion of the userbase, but they're not going to be on the For You page and probably won't be making one cent even if they have high engagement (ugly, boring tik tok user + high engagement = people are making fun of them). Ugly people like Anna O'Brien will find success on the platform because they have already established a large following elsewhere, but it's difficult to go from 0 to famous by using Tik Tok alone unless you are a rich, conventionally attractive teenager or someone who makes memes.
