But it's a far reach for me to believe that Amber was diagnosed with anxiety disorder, depression, panic disorder, OCPD, and bipolar on her very first visit. Super sus. Anxiety and depression are pretty straightforward and I can buy that, but I was under the impression that for a bipolar rx to be made the patient needs to be observed over some period of time to establish a mood baseline, (and that she was diagnosed with bipolar AND unipolar depression is weird to me) but what do I know, and weirder things have happened. I would be surprised if she even had the vocabulary to describe her symptoms cohesively, if a diagnosis was in fact made.
