There are 9 specific symptoms that define BPD, and an individual only needs to meet 5 of them to be diagnosed. It presents in literally hundreds of combinations of symptoms. It's not "very specific" it's actually ridiculously broad in terms of behavior.I don’t mean this in a sarcastic way at all - but do any of you even know what Borderline Personality Disorder is? That specific disorder is characterized by very specific things which AOnly presents for a few of - it doesn’t actually mean the person changes personalities. To be frank, most people with BPD are more likely to be drug or sex addicts than 600 lb food addicts. Everyone saying she’s NPD is more on the nail than anything close to BPD.
Edit: especially because Amber doesn’t self-harm? Forget about it.
I'm not diagnosing her, but you don't know enough about BPD to tell people they're wrong, either. It's not that she is personality shifting, she's mirroring people to be accepted by them, which is 100% a BPD trait.
I'm not trying to get into anything with you, just letting you know I am well-versed in cluster B disorders
