Assuming they haven't just completely forgotten him by then, he was extremely notorious and widely hated in Singapore to the point where he was assaulted on the street multiple times, and this was before he took up child grooming. If a fraction of that sentiment remains it's going to have a bigger impact on his life than being on a registry in the States would.

That is part of the reason why he was arguably sympathetic in the Singapore trial. Dude was a teenager, so his behavior seemed like the "edgy teenager shit lord" taken to the extreme. It's probably a factor in why why people were going "oh he's just acting like a dick" when being a "virtuous pedo".
Addition: Also, seems pretty clear to me that he is incredibly emotionally stunted, which (to play armchair psych) may be linked back to him being a child TV star in Singapore. Was he diddled as a kid while doing TV as a kid in Singapore? Idk, but acting as a child probably contributed to his NPD.

Ironically, it likely won't happen because, without the protective measures they're almost certainly gonna have take with Amos, it probably would happen. They're gonna isolate him from general pop.

I just watched Tom's documentary on the guy, nice to see he's in jail where he belongs. Still astonished by how he went from a decent kid with potential to the dregs of society in a couple of years. It sucks that he went down the path he did and I hope he thinks about what he threw his life away for as he rots in jail. He deserves to spend a long time isolated from everyone else, not this Mutt's Law shit. Isolation really makes people go nuts, especially when they're an edgelord like Amos Yee.
