An Autistic Analysis on Dungeons and Dragons 3.x Classes

Have you taken a look at the Savage Worlds adaptation for Pathfinder? That might be interesting to check out.
I haven't, I'll add it to my piracy queue.
But like you said, unfucking Paizo's spectacular screw up with PF is probably more trouble than it's worth. The World Is Square houserule set might come closest, though it's tough for martials to top the sheer amount of ridiculousness that spellcasters can get up to (honestly, a good solution might be to reduce wizard and sorcerer HD back to d4, and strip a good portion of the self-buff spells from clerics and druids).
It's deeper than that IMO, it's baked into everything. Look at the stuff an archmage can do and compare it to the other mythic paths. Pretty clear that wizards are their self-inserts.

It might be easier to balance if some spells were instead rituals, and others required multiple spell slots, perhaps of different levels, along with your recommendations.

I'll agree the monk is a garbage class but they are fun to play. Grappling is an underutilized ability and monks dominate at it. Again it's completely situational but there's something satisfying about choking the fuck out of hostile wildlife. I played as a lawful evil monk who was basically a ninja assassin. Once combat started he was down in a couple turns but it was fun as hell outside of combat.
