Over on Reddit, the recent news about Phillip on /r/youtubedrama is currently being brigaded by users from /r/gamingcirclejerk etc. I usually don't comment on this type of crap, but it's so blatant I have to mention it. The user posting this is running an Ana Valens fanclub to the point that almost every single post from this clown in the last week is in full support of him - and making sure to disregard all of his... well, let's say less supportive parts. The voting looks to be brigaded as well.


/r/youtubedrama is one of those subreddits that is complete bullshit most of the time. Yet, is also somehow able to have complete clarity that no other subreddits are able to have at other times. You can find some really insightful comments there quite often; even if you have to dig for them.

Short version. A vtuber agency formed about a year ago. The stated intention for that group was to produce specifically adult content and to orient their audience as people who consume "lewd" content from vtubers. Their audition criteria required that you have prior experience with creating adult content in other forms (ASMR roleplay, OF/Fansly, Voice Acting/Dubbing). Valens applied and wasn't chosen. During a Q&A panel hosted by the company after the first group was hired, the question came up if they would hire trans people as talents for the company. As politely as they could, the response was "We want people who sound like women."

tl:dr - Troon pissed because nobody hired them to a company composed of and for women content creators and they didn't get to infest the company with weird futa on straight woman giantess vore fetish on a stage to an audience that simply doesn't exist because said troon sounds like Tony Danza in a dress.
