Actually, he just ate 'em up.

Even though -- if the based their explanation on the literal text, without engaging in sophistry, obfuscation or equivocation -- they'd have to end each pronouncement with "....and this was all because ribwoman made dirtman eat a magic apple on the advice of a talking snake."

It's no more outrageous than ending each pronouncement with "Everything came into existence by nothing for no reason and an amoeba, in a one in a trillion chance, happened by accident" :D

Chris kind of reminds me of Cartman on that fish sticks episode where Kyle tells him his ego goes through mental gymnastics to avoid reality. That's basically Chris' ego in a nutshell.

It's one of the guilty pleasures in my life to watch fanatical believers and fanatical disbelievers use the exact same arguments and never realize they are doing it.

It would appear that the final nail in the coffin was when Barb claimed that she'd "overheard a conversation" between Megan and Snyder.
What I'd like to know is, when was Barb ever in a position to overhear any such conversation between the two? It's not like she hung around the Gameplace with Chris is it. Is she claiming that they spelled out some sort of evil plan in the style of cartoon villains unbeknownst that there was a secret listener? It's retarded on so many levels. There was also Bobs "thorough investigation" which honestly sounds like nothing more than pure conjecture on his part.

One of the reasons I like the Megan saga is because it shows an arc of idiocy that we can arguably apply to other Christorical events that we have little to no knowledge of. So for example, we see Chris being involved with a person/establishment and his behaviour eventually causes him to be ostracized from said person/establishment. Cue his parents stepping in with the firm belief that it'd everybody elses fault and filling Chris' head with conjecture, half truths, and bald faced lies; combine this with Chris' complete inability to accept things as being his fault and his natural tendency to warp events into a more favorable version, and VOILA! we have Chris producing a version of events that are absolutely nothing like what really went down.

Now apply this to the whole "pinned me down and recorded my screams/ principal molested me" stuff from Nathanael Greene Elementary School and it's safe to assume the real version of events is totally different.

Anyone who says that has no understanding of how physics, chemistry, or biology works, and has no business speaking on such matters
