Horrorcow Andrew Ditch / Andy Ditch / The Poopsquatch - Middle-aged diaper and scat enthusiast. Pretends to be autistic so that people will change his diapers.

So summarily Andy has no care towards his privacy as he’s taken the action to make it easily accessible? Kind of like calling the cops and their resulting bodycam footage being publicly accesible as an intermediary result of his initial decision to call? Nobody but Andy made that decision, should the weight of external informal output weigh upon Andy’s shoulders?!

In short. Andy wanted us to have this footage from his initial action of calling public dispatch resources. Something which is inherently accesible to local taxpayers auditing as after all it is on their dime.
Andy puts it best in this video, shifting from Baby Andy wanting to go to Hospul, then shifting to Lawyer Andy quoting Section 18-whatever. Andy says he's glad this is going on YouTube.

Could HIPAA be violated without context? It’s an interesting ethics question. Personally, I’m having a hard time seeing how patient specific case could influence Andy’s body cam unless if personal information was given to their medical context within the filming period.
Hospitals really don't want to get fined, or even think about being fined. It all depends on how that ED was set up, but I could see a problem if there were monitors or a rooming board (or chartbacks) that could expose PHI.

It's speculation until the video pops up; I was just wondering. The unusual part is that the potential release of information affects the hospital, but it's in the hands of a third party (the police department) that might have different standards for that information release. Recording in a hospital isn't the problem; it's when that recording is reviewed or released that a legally-actionable breach can occur.

Of course, if everyone was pre-warned about Andy, this probably all took place in an isolation or psych room, away from anyone who's innocently trying to pass a kidney stone.

or did his parents bond him out? i hope not.

The ties that bind weave an intricate tapestry, even in families as dysfunctional as the Ditches. In Andy's case, are they still strong enough to command $100?

lol, no.

I hope he throws a tantrum and bashes his stupid, ugly balding manbaby head into his cell wall until he passes out from a concussion.
Oh, they'll put Andy in a weighted blanket all right! They'll make Andy into the Safety Burrito!

How long can one manchild keep up the act without his parents jumping in to bail him out? They’ve gotta be so relieved he’s out of state and locked away somewhere.

The ambulance shitting had me wondering. What’s the protocol when you’re in a shit standoff with Andy? Surely medical staff can’t be forced to deal with or clean him, I wonder how that works.

Question though: Would this guy count as an Inactive Lolcow now that he's in jail 4 life?
If he actually is imprisoned for that long then yes, it would. Unless I missed something, he hasn't actually been sentenced yet so there's always the possibility he might be free before too long.

For some reason, lolcow pests have very good luck getting out of consequences for their actions.

Hopefully Ditch’s plot armor has run out

Can't believe this dumbass managed to Speedrun from small lolcow to felon without touching any kid. Also I love how even the reports say that he mimicks having autism. Like  you though you had won for once because the doctors decided to give him the diagnosis he wanted to now calling it back since he's now in police custody. Is kinda weird that he didn't got arrested back when he poisoned his family though

Release on bond requires Andy to wear an ankle monitor, plus whoever put up the $100 for the 10% would probably have to explain to the Judge how they were going to care for Andy, what weekly motel will he be at, things like that. If the Judge isn't satisfied as to how Andy will survive on bail, he can deny the bail request.
