I think Andy's biggest fetish is not his scat issues or his junk washing desires but his attention whoring. Despite all his cries to be "just left alone" Andy can't stand being alone.

He craves his fathers attention and baring that he will take action to get any attention from anyone. Left alone he quickly becomes bored or lonely and then acts out or calls crisis services or 911. 90% of Andy shitty behaviour is just to get someone to pay attention to him as without the baby Andy autismo routine he's a sad, boring fuck nugget who people would rather avoid then talk too.

Remember he was placed in an apartment by his parents a few years ago because he was crying so hard that he wanted to be own his own, that no one wanted him blah blah blah we all know the drill. He only lasted one week before he "accidentally" caught the place on fire by leaving Kraft dinner on the stove top and his parents were forced to take him back home because "Andy can't take care of himself". (fuck do I hate that talking in the 3rd person drivel he spouts now)

Anytime he's placed in a group home he acts out and creates conflict because that's the only way he knows to get attention but this just causes people to leave him alone which causes his shitty behaviour to ramp up to get more attention which causes people to flee even faster.

What makes me grin is in the long run Andy is fucked, like royally screwed.

Once PappaSquatch and MommaSquatch go to that big forest in the sky Andy will be totally alone. He's completely destroyed his relations with every other family member, howling his pain into a empty void where even 911 and crisis services won't answer him because he's abused them so much in the past.

On his psychology and fetishism, I know there's been a lot of theories in the thread. I lean towards a simple one - domination by force is his primary fetish. He has crafted a scenario where he can control the people around him, where he can force them to do what he wants. He controls them or punishes them. The attention and the diapers are secondary, because they are reward for him, and punishment for others, the result of his ability to control others by force.

If the force of the unwilling to participate wasn't part of the desire, there's no need for his parents, police, medical and care workers to be involved. Goodness knows we've seen enough shit on this website to know there's always some freak somewhere who will change a diaper. But it's not enjoyable if they're willing, and not manipulated into it.

Even when the person is doing it willingly, because they think he's disabled, Andy gets the satisfaction from getting them to do something they otherwise wouldn't- he knows he's not disabled, but he got them to do it anyway, and he has control over them.

His meltdowns, even in situations where he seemingly has what he wants, are when he realizes that he doesn’t get to control the staff at hospitals and group homes. Once he loses control over the people around him, he's going to punish them.

I feel like that's one of the things that makes Andy so unsettling. Tweak him a bit, and he's some unhinged sexual sadist serial killer. As it is, he's just a loathsome internet oddity.

This is largely unrelated but while we on the topic of his parents, i have a schizotheory on a possible motive (NOT justification) of Andy’s. we know that Andy was allegedly physically and sexually abused by his big bro. what if his parents failed to properly protect him from this abuse, and this created resentment in Andy towards his own folks? The only way I can see andy treating his family the way that he has, even if it is also for the medical attention and sexual gratification, is if he for whatever reason wanted to enact revenge on them. even some of the most calloused socios probably wouldn’t try to hurt their own blood without provocation. it is unfortunately not uncommon for parents to be uncaring or simply ignorant in regards to shit like that happening with their kids which is why I thought up the schizotheory in the first place
