The colors of the one on the right really bug me. The yellow is way too fucking yellow, same deal going on with the orange. I would expect both colors to be significantly more subdued (and the arm cannon for that matter). Meanwhile he did the Varia Suit outline in color, which would look really nice if Samus was outlined the same way. It's like with his new comic style: he only does part of the lineart in color and it stands out in all the wrong ways. The way Samus' lips stick out reminds me of Pixyteri's retarded pictures, and the facial expression doesn't match up. I would expect Samus to look pissed off, or stoic, or surprised/shocked. Instead it looks like she heard someone she knows call her from behind at the mall when she wasn't expecting to see them today, or something.

The lips actually remind me of a chimp. It's pretty pathetic: most art evolutions become more detailed over time (CRHF, despite being a textbook case of Cerebus Syndrome, became far better drawn), and comic strips often go to a tightened, streamlined look, with the decline only coming when the artist is very old.

Unfortunately, Dobson does neither, and it literally looks like he's regressed. Even if that was his "style", his writing still sucks. TWO grammar/spelling mistakes in a comic is unforgivable, and if he spent more time trying to actually develop a decent comic strip instead of pandering to his fetishes/attacking people who call him out/being a mean-spirited asshole in general, he would actually get the respect and love he wants.

It used to be, he replaced her with bear Dawson because we wanted the attention on him I guess.

That was me a page back, I was making the observation based on the fact the mohawk woman has the same glasses, eyebrows, hidious facial expressions and mary-sue'esqe qualities that his other self inserts have.

Without the mohawk the character looks like a balding middle aged man.
