Some (idiotic/well meaning) teen wasted 15 dollar on a movie ticket for him and he can't even bother to appropriately thank the person in a more personal manner, either by tweet or by drawing some quick sketch for her. And I am sorry I am beating on the last one, but I think that good manners alone would say that you should do something in return for such a rather generous and well meant gesture.
I do recall people saying that they have to unblock people solely so they can start blocking again.Does Twitter have a block limit? Blobson must have over a thousand people blocked at this point.
You're kinda assuming a lot about the movie ticket thing.
Did the person who gave him the cash actually come out and say that Dobson didn't even bother to say thank you?
It is entirely possible that he said thanks in private. Maybe the person didn't want to be publicly named.
Also you don't really have to do anything in return for a gift, that is why its called a gift and not a favor.
I do agree with him being lazy as fuck, I mean he can't even bothered to get a new twitter icon, but the rest just seemed like reaching.
In regard of who may have given him the ticket...

And I doubt that any of his relatives would call themselves dragon12435. Also, Dobby had to tell the person how much to give him for cover. I am sorry, but last time I got a generous gift by someone I did not tell them "how much" they should have wasted on me minimum. I don't know, it just bugs me all the wrong ways. For starters, I am a firm believer that a generous gesture should also be rewarded in some manner. You don't have to get your way out, but considering he has nothing better to do at all AND that it would help him build a reputation as a nice guy who actually appreciates stuff like that, he could in return at least sit down for half an hour and do an inksketch for that person as a thank you. And as someone already mentioned here, it is pretty sad that Dobson, a guy who calls himself an artist AND is a grown up man of the age of 34 can't even bother to somehow save up/earn 15$ for a movie ticket and a bag of popcorn. I make odd jobs at weekends where I earn that kind of money in two hours. Frankly, I feel proud now for the fact that I at least EARN that money instead of begging for it.
EDIT: Andrew "Hates Violence" Dobson
The same guy who got upset when a CGI animal gets killed, has no qualms of burning a guy in a pyre for being "sexist", or attacking a con goer with a bat.WOW, first time I see that one. Why did he felt the need to add that much blood when lightsabers are supposed to cauterize upon cut? I know it seems like a stupid remark but it does highlights two things: his hypocrisy regarding his stance on violence and his lack of attention to detail to the source material.
or having some Jedi cut off George Lucas's head, or his characters beating up Anime characters. The same guy who got upset when a CGI animal gets killed, has no qualms of burning a guy in a pyre for being "sexist", or attacking a con goer with a bat.
His Twitter right now is just retweet after retweet of "white guilt" posts. It's not even funny at this point, it's just sad and irritating.
EDIT: Andrew "Hates Violence" Dobson
Because he's a "white cis male", Dobson. The pariah/boogeyman of Twitter and tumblr.
And even more shilling of his art.
Calm thy tits, Dobson.
Eh... I had my share of hard times where I wouldn't go to the movies, because I didn't want to spend money for something that could mean several days of food. There is no shame in being broke, there is just shame in not trying to change that.In regard of who may have given him the ticket...
