I dont think many people are honestly completely with how they turned out but it shouldn't get in the way of you living your life and striving to be better. Dobson just dwells on the best, thinking of his life in terms of what people did wrong to him and everything thats wrong with the world rather than what he may have done wrong and how he can make his situation better.

And even if he does not want to think about how he could change and his own flaws, why not enjoy just life for what it is?
I am currently at college after I got another education for a job prior. While I enjoyed the studying, I did not enjoy the people I hang out in the days and I think if I ever heard how some of them got screwed, I would feel at least a bit satisfied. But I am not so obsessed about past wrongs that I let that affect how I otherwise try to enjoy myself. I still go to movies, talk with friends, do some geeky things and try to find a better paid job than I have currently all for the sake of making my life better than it is. And my life is not horrible. I do not suffer from some disease or deep trauma, am not poor and so on. And neither is Dobson supposedly. So why not enjoy what he has? Simply: Because being the victim is in some way next to his failed sJW status all he has going for himself. It is almost all that defines him.
And I really believe that there is nothing Dobson really can enjoy just for enjoyments sake. Marvel movies? He watches them because they are the superhero movies that show the jocks from yesterday that these silly comics can be good and he will dogpile any hero movie that tries to be "dark" and ruin what he had in his childhood.
Legend of Korra? Can't enjoy it without mentioning the lesbian thing that got shoved in in the last ten seconds.
Steven Universe? I think he doesn't really enjoy it as much as that he goes out to promote it because it is "progressive".
MLP? Originally the same, later on it triggered his autistic behavior button.
Skyrim, Splatton and videogames in general? I think he is closer to moviebob in his behavior there than a casual gamer just enjoying for a couple of hours a game and then do some real work.

It's the exact same thing with MovieBob, they're both fat sad-sack losers who were bullied in the past, and now that they have an outlet (comics for Dobson, videos for Bob) they use it to mock their tormentors. But the thing is, the people that bullied them probably don't give a shit. All they will see is the kid that they bullied a lot grew up into an overweight manchild that is still stuck in the past with an obsession with "one upping" them and his Nintendo nostalgia horse shit. What Dobson and Bob don't know is that the bullies won, because they still let them affect their lives to this very day, and no amount of mockery will ever get rid of that fact.

He doesnt even really enjoy the things he should enjoy.
He used to enjoy marvel movies until he was informed how problematic Black widow was and how oppressive iron man is......and how we triggered him from laughing at his bad captain america.
Legend of Korra - I dont think Dobson has actually honestly watched it in full since he knows balls all about anything other than the main characters, he only took a interest when he was told of the lesbian undertones of the shows last few seconds.

With video games Dobson is allowing his SJW claims to affect his choices. Pre SJW Dobson was a big fan of the Dead or Alive series (to the point of drawing fap material) and was a huge bayonetta fan. Even his enjoyment of splatton is tempered by the fact he is triggered because defensive players are ruining his fun and playing it wrong.

Dobson could be happy if he dropped all his shit and stayed home watching harem anime, cracking off to inflation porn and playing dead or alive volleyball but he would rather be unhappy as the worlds most shit white knight.

And the funny thing when you compare the two there is, arguably Bob could say he is on a more even ground with his tormentors. Sure he is still a fatso and manchild people make fun of, but he also has found enough guilible people around him to guarantee he is going to make 4000$ on Patreon each month AND there is the fact at least his Pixel review gave him 15 minutes of fame. I am not calling Bob a winner or a good person here, for me he is still a high level lolcow. But if he ever gets to a highschool reunion and tells someone he makes 4000$ a month (which is more than some others make), at least on terms of who makes a good wage he had won. The people there could still make fun of other things about him then (like how he makes the money), but a good income is a good income. Dobson on the other hand has absolutely NOTHING to hold up to prove he is or at least was succesful in any significant way anywhere in the past. His patreon is just emphazising it even more. Especially when you look at other people.
I once did a short overview on patreon users and guess what: there are people of some underground fetish groups who write erotic fanfiction and make at least 10 times more than Dobson in a month.

Going through his interactions with people on DA (like when that lesbian teenager called out his creepy lesbian obsession), it's pretty damn clear why his Patreon is deep in the shitter. He's such a condescending shit to his fans that anyone with half a brain would stay as far away from him as possible. His art would be passable if he was a self taught amateur, but he had a proper education and training that he blatantly ignores to this day. He also has almost more than a decade of experience, yet his art has not only stagnated, but actually degraded.

Same thing happened to Golden Knight. Either way, I popped in this thread, see all of this hatred for him. His art is pretty decent, better than anything I've seen on the Cartoon Network other than probably the Venture Brothers. Certainly better than Adventure Time, Bill and Mandy, Johnny Bravo, etc. Dude's work is solid, why so many haters? He's even better than Nick Bate's Coffee Crew comics. Can someone explain to me why? I know people who have MFAs who are worse at cartooning than this guy.

He literally whined about how the Aurora shootings interfered with his "right" to talk about the Dark Knight Rises movie. This is basically the equivalent of spitting in the collective faces of the victims of the shooting. All the people that died and all their family members who have to suffer don't matter to Dobson, all he cares about is himself.

Note that this was made very close to the shooting, when it was still big news.

The tumblr post that covered it was made on 28 July. The shooting was on the 20th. This means that Dobson made this comic within the same fucking week that it happened.

He's got a point, despite the awkward intro that led to bane posting being a thing and the logical inconsistencies throughout the plot, it was a pretty good movie. Some sperg shooting up a theater shouldn't have to ruin it.
