Tate must not realize how cheap and not time-consuming most homecooked meals can be. I can cook a big ass pot of spaghetti that'll feed me and my family for at least two dinners and one lunch for around $10, and that's with good quality ingredients.
It's also good for you, psychologically, to eat a nice homecooked meal.

There is something missing in his mutt head. Cooking for yourself is satisfying, cooking for your family even more so.
Its like not understanding why someone would fix their car, or things like gardening. Yes you can pay someone else to do it but doing things yourself is satisfying.
This is not even going into the shitty realities of fast food or even restaurant food. Spoilers its mostly shit.
More people should cook for themselves. Its shocking just how much money some people are spending on bad quality food, even worse when they are poor.
Throwing a piece of meat in the oven, boiling some potatoes and cutting up some greens for a salad takes very little time or skill.

Like I get that sometimes people like to order food, but for fuck's sake this man is being such a faggot. Cooking is an incredibly useful skill and if anything, is a skill that would be worth teaching to Tate's young audience since it's a true sign of being independent.
Not to mention cooking can also be pretty relaxing and a fun thing to do.
