I have no idea why that's all wikipedia says on the subject, but that's certainly not the only thing the word means. Wudan-quan is a group of chinese martial arts. That's the same word as "wutang" as used by the wutang clan. Wudan Wutang Wudang are all romanizations of the same chinese word unless I'm mistaken.

If you grew up watching hong kong martial arts films, it's all wudan this wudan that.
