A Pivotal Moment

On July 13th, 2024 our nation was shaken by the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump. This event has sparked intense debate and discussion, forcing us to confront the divisions and animosity that have plagued our society. As Christians, we must seek to understand the spiritual implications of this moment and the role that the Holy Spirit plays in guiding our hearts and minds.

In the wake of this tragic event, it is clear that the Holy Spirit is at work in the hearts of many. As we witness the outpouring of love, support, and prayer for President Trump and his family, we cannot deny the presence of God’s grace and compassion. This moment has served as a wake-up call for many, prompting us to reevaluate our priorities and seek a deeper understanding of our faith.

As we navigate the aftermath of this event, it is essential to remain hopeful and optimistic about the future. We must trust in the power of the Holy Spirit to guide us through these challenging times and to work on the hearts of those around us.

There are, at this very moment, tens of thousands of people posting online about how they are upset that the shooter missed. Many of them will gleefully show up in the pews on Sunday at their church with a rainbow flag flying out front and believe that they are righteous. We have a very deep spiritual rot in our country and it stems from a very deep spiritual rot in our churches. Whatever you think about Trump as a person, he is symbolic of all of us. When they say they wish the bullet hit him, they implicitly mean you and I too. We cannot have unity with these people until they repent and they must be rebuked.

For the first time we are seeing people on the left pay the consequences for their endorsements of political violence. They are being fired from their jobs and rebuked online by thousands of people. Many on the right are having an open debate about this saying we shouldn’t embrace the cancel culture of the left. These people don’t know what time it is. We are at war. The time for playing nice is over.

These wicked people spent the past eight years dragging my name through the mud, harassing and threatening my family including bomb threats on my parent’s house which resulted in the FBI showing up and the local elementary school being shut down.

They got my business banned from banks, payment processors, app stores, hosting providers, and more which threatened my ability to provide for my wife and three children. So when you ask me if I care that they are now being fired from their jobs as a consequence for them wanting us dead my truthful and honest response is that them losing their jobs doesn’t go nearly far enough.

While God asserts His sovereignty in matters of vengeance and justice, He frequently employs His faithful servants to carry out His will. One example from the Bible is the story of the Israelites’ exodus from Egypt. God used Moses, Aaron, and the plagues to bring judgment upon Egypt, ultimately leading to the release of the Israelites from slavery. Another example is the story of David and Goliath, where God used David to defeat the giant Goliath and bring victory to Israel. In both cases, God demonstrated His sovereignty in matters of vengeance and justice, but He also chose to work through His faithful servants to accomplish His purposes.

We can’t dismiss Him doing the same thing through us.

In the contemporary political landscape, the dissident right has emerged as a significant force. However, the demographic makeup of this movement predominantly comprises Millennials and Gen Z, groups notorious for their impatience. As a millennial myself, I can attest to this restless spirit that often permeates our collective consciousness.
The crux of the problem lies in our expectation for immediate results. We live in an era of instant gratification, where everything from food to entertainment is available at the click of a button. This mindset does not translate well to the realm of politics where power is gained incrementally over time. It’s a strategic, long-game play that requires patience, resilience, and foresight.

Our generations are often blinded by the desire for instant results. We want everything now, failing to understand the necessity of the slow, arduous process that leads to lasting change. This impatience often leads to a sense of disillusionment when our expectations are not met immediately, causing us to fall into a state of despair and negativity.
However, it is crucial to maintain a sense of optimism. We must remember that the road to change is fraught with challenges, but it is through overcoming these obstacles that we will ultimately succeed. It’s essential to have a message of hope and most importantly, solutions. While pointing out flaws and injustices is necessary, we must be careful not to get trapped in a perpetual state of negativity.

This constant doom and gloom can be toxic to our minds, bodies, and souls. It leads to a defeatist mindset that can hinder our progress. Instead, we must cultivate a spirit of resilience and determination. We must believe in our ability to effect change and work tirelessly towards our goals.

As we stand on the brink of a new era, a team of entrepreneurial warriors, winners, operators, and builders is assembling around the charismatic leader Donald Trump. This group of innovators, comprised of some of the brightest minds of our generation, is united by a shared vision of rebuilding and revitalizing our nation.

While some of the usual subversive political players are also attempting to join this movement, we must acknowledge that this is simply the nature of politics. However, it is essential to recognize that the true driving force behind this transformation is the entrepreneurial warriors who are ready to put their talents and expertise to work for the betterment of our country.

As we move forward with this ambitious undertaking, it is essential to acknowledge that politics is a complex and often messy business. There will be compromises, negotiations, and even the occasional breadcrumb tossed in the direction of the more traditional political players. However, we must not lose sight of the ultimate goal: empowering the warriors who have the vision, drive, and determination to reshape our nation’s future.
I’m optimistic I encourage you to be so too.

We have a lot of work to do, but this is a pivotal moment and a turning point in the future of our great nation.
Have faith in God’s sovereign plan and starting building.

To God be the glory.

IOW, can't expect God to do all the work.

What I like about seeing Andrew Torba shill for J.D. Vance is watching the Groypers attacking him. So you're probably wondering why are some people on the far-right going after other people on the far-right?

Well Andrew Torba is a fan of J.D. Vance's Christian values (because Torba is a fundie lunatic that thinks America should become a theocracy like Iran where the judge, jury, and executioner is the Bible). However, Torba is facing backlash from his fellow far-right extremists for supporting Vance.

1. J.D. Vance is married to an Indian woman. A lot of the Groypers are attacking Andrew Torba over this because the Groypers (as cringe as they are) do believe in white supremacy and they don't see how a Christian man married to a non-white will advance white supremacy in America. The Groypers are now accusing Andrew Torba of being pro-race mixing.

2. J.D. Vance is also pro-Israel. I don't think I need to explain this one if you are familiar with far-right politics. But for those living under a rock, the far-right never liked Jews and Israel due to far-right politics historically being antisemetic. So the Groypers are attacking Andrew Torba over this because J.D. Vance is pro-Israel and the far-right sees Vance as controlled opposition by the 'Jewish conspiracy'.

So watching Andrew Torba become a victim of his very own purity spiral is hilarious.

aims to be a "free speech twitter alternative", but is already banning racists and has added a NSFW tickbox to comply with Apple Store rules because apparently they think they should be making Apple apps instead of just using web browsers to achieve what they want very easily. Every single person on Gab is fucking insane. Almost all of them seem to say "free speech" but covertly mean "hugbox for my own beliefs". It fell into the 8chan pitfall right off the fucking bat by making itself an extremist alternative to an existing service, so instead of being the "free speech" variant, it's really where pedophiles and nazis go to scream about people they don't like, making itself utterly appalling to normal users who would stabilize the platform.

That image sums up how I feel about the whole situation with Israel and Palestine in regards to how political extremist grifters on Gab or other social media platforms address the issue.

I don't disagree that the Israeli government has mistreated the Palestinians for much of Israel's existence. But as morbid as this sounds, I feel like in the end there probably won't even be a Palestinian land anymore due to the majority of Western countries backing Israel with Palestine hardly has any significant Western support and the only notable people that are supporting the Palestinians as I've identified are far-left communists and socialists (because they see Israel as evil for being a capitalist democracy), neo-Nazis and Christian Nationalists and other far-right groups (they don't like Jews historically if you know what the far-right believes in), and Islamic Salafist/Jihadists and their sympathizers (the sub-80 IQ people that scream 'Allahu Akbar' and not realizing that doing these acts of terror only makes the rest of the world hate Islam even more).

I do feel for the Palestinians but unfortunately for them, most of their supporters are just political/religious extremists that lack self-awareness and the hostile foreign powers that are nowhere near as powerful or influential as the United States and their Western allies so at this rate I feel like the pro-Palestine Movement will simply Occupy Wall Street itself once the war is finally over.

Gab’s Emergency Request From the FBI

Andrew Torba, July 30, 2024

The FBI is now claiming that the Trump shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks had an unspecified “social media account” in 2019/2020 (when he was 14/15 years old) that posted “anti-immigrant and anti-semitic” content.
This is not consistent with Gab’s understanding of the shooter’s motives based on an Emergency Disclosure Request (“EDR”) we received from the FBI last week for the Gab account “EpicMicrowave” which, based on the content of that EDR, the FBI appeared to think belonged to Thomas Crooks.
We’d like to extend a special thank you to Elon Musk for highlighting this important story.

Many, particularly regime media reporters, have doubted Gab’s claims that this request existed. Normally we don’t confirm the existence or content of law enforcement communications. In this instance we had to make an exception due to the overwhelming public interest in disclosure and transparency.

As a courtesy to law enforcement, we are not going to post the entire request. This is the first page of that request.

The story is this: the account for which data was requested was, UNEQUIVOCALLY, pro-Biden and in particular pro-Biden’s immigration policy.

To the best of Gab’s knowledge, as of 2021, Crooks was a pro-lockdown, pro-immigration, left-wing Joe Biden supporter.

We are disclosing this information at significant personal and business risk. If the past is any guide, defying the D.C. consensus by publishing the first definitive evidence that the shooter was a Biden supporter – something Democrats and their media allies have tried to cover up and deny at every turn – has a high probability of resulting in significant political and media backlash.

In the past, we have been the target of politically motivated inquiries from both the House Oversight Committee and the Joint Committee on the January 6th Attacks, both of which sought to interfere with our mission of protecting free speech online. The enemies of freedom have the ability to impose significant present and future legal costs and any donations we receive will help to defray those costs.

How Free Speech Platforms Can Survive

Yesterday Elon Musk and X made a significant announcement that they have filed an antitrust lawsuit against the Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM), the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA), and GARM members CVS Health, Mars, Orsted, and Unilever. This bold move is a direct consequence of their actions, which have cost X billions of dollars and severely impacted their ability to operate as a free speech platform. The video streaming platform Rumble has joined them and filed suit as well.

As someone who has been in the free speech social media space for eight years now, I can empathize with the challenges X and Rumble are facing. Gab has also encountered similar issues with the advertising business model, and I applaud them for taking legal action against those who have sought to destroy their businesses.

While there are some courageous businesses that won’t be swayed by the outrage mob and will continue advertising on free speech platforms, the majority of advertisers, especially the big spenders, are not so resilient. We are grateful for the businesses that support us and our mission, but the reality is that advertising revenue alone is not sufficient to keep platforms like Gab, Rumble, and X afloat.

Gab’s traffic has exploded recently with the election cycle news and currently we have so much unsold ad inventory that we lowered our prices down to a $1 CPM price (cost per 1,000 views.) If you are business owner or have an organization that runs online ads we encourage you to learn more about advertising on Gab here.

The longterm solution lies in shifting the focus to the users who are willing to fund the site. Subscriptions, payments, and on-site commerce are essential components of a sustainable revenue model for free speech platforms. By offering more features as paid options, platforms can generate the necessary income to continue providing a free speech haven for their users. If users spend several hours a day on the app, it’s reasonable to expect them to contribute a small monthly fee to support the platform.

Gab’s survival and growth rely heavily on the financial support of its users. By donating directly, upgrading to GabPRO, or purchasing merchandise from the Gab Shop, users can contribute to the platform’s sustainability and ensure its continued operation. Every month, Gab depends on cash flow to cover essential expenses such as server bills, engineers, lawyers, and team members.

Without the support of our users, Gab would be unable to maintain its commitment to free speech and provide a space for unique uncensored perspectives. Supporting Gab monetarily is not only crucial for the platform’s survival but also sends a powerful message to those who seek to suppress free speech online. Moreover, contributing to Gab’s financial stability allows the platform to continue developing new features and improvements that enhance the user experience and further solidify its position as a leading free speech platform.

Cutting out the middleman and eliminating the attack vector of advertisers who succumb to pressure campaigns from special interest groups and the media is crucial for the survival of free speech platforms. By building a loyal user base and fostering a community that values the importance of open dialogue, free speech platforms can thrive and continue to provide a space for uncensored perspectives and ideas.

X’s antitrust lawsuit against advertising conglomerates is a significant turning point for free speech platforms. It highlights the need for alternative revenue models and the importance of user support in maintaining an open and free online environment. As we navigate the challenges of the digital age, it’s essential to prioritize the preservation of free speech and the rights of all individuals to express their opinions without fear of censorship or retaliation.

Andrew Torba isn't wrong about how advertisers and sponsors tend to be the biggest censors on the Internet but he fails to realize why they do this and the irony here is that censorship done by the advertiser/sponsor ironically has its origins back to American evangelism when the day the radio was invented.

So why do advertisers and sponsors censor media? It goes back to the days when the only source of entertainment via telecommunications was on the radio and when film was invented. Religious groups pushed for sanitizing media by putting pressure on advertisers and sponsors to take away the revenue being earned by a content creator that they found objectionable as well as pushing for the government to pass laws and regulations on what kind of content can be shown on a broadcast (it's why you can't say words like "Fuck" on the radio and why the film industry adopted Hay's Code up until the late-1960's).

The tradition of censorship by the sponsor is a thing because a long time ago the Religious Right made this a standard and now it's been rebranded by those on the Left to censor anything they don't like. In the old days, it was anything related to sexuality or race or criticism of religion that was censored by the sponsor. Now it's anything related to harassment or hate speech. Why? Because advertisers and sponsors don't want to lose potential customers in fear of being associated with something taboo or negative.

To quote Metokur, "They want to sell you a Toyota". Advertisers and sponsors want to sell you an Xbox or a computer part or a video game to you and they don't want to sell stuff to you next to someone posting conspiracy theories about 9/11 or conspiracy theories about Israel because they don't want their brand images to be tarnished by something that can be seen as offensive.

Torba is only half-right that advertisers and sponsors are the biggest enemies to free speech on the Internet but what his boomer ass fails to acknowledge is that cancel culture is a tool that was created by the Religious Right that just so happened to be adopted by the Woke Left. If Torba was being honest, he would also acknowledge how back then religious evangelicals were the ones doing the canceling and so in order to preserve free speech then that also means that the Religious Right must also never gain power ever again where they could regulate speech as well, not just the Woke Left being stripped of their power. But Torba won't admit this because Torba doesn't look at things objectively and thinks only Christians are the protagonists of this story which is why Gab is a failure of a platform.

Based Briefing: The Harris Campaign House of Cards

The honeymoon period for the Harris campaign is coming to an end. If you read the tea leaves and can see through the propaganda of the Regime media apparatus you’ll witness a campaign that is built on a house of cards. The left, and sadly many on the right, would love for you to believe that a candidate who was polling at 3% when she ran for President in 2020 is a breakout political star destined to be President, but the moves from her campaign paint a desperate and frantic picture of a campaign in disarray.

Kamala Harris’s campaign has adopted a more assertive stance on border issues out of nowhere, which is an obvious attempt to appeal to a broader base by adopting a tough-on-immigration rhetoric. This strategy is reminiscent of Trump’s nearly decade long approach, which is heavily focused on border security and immigration issues.

Then there’s that hat.

By donning symbolic attire like a camo hat, Harris seems to be signaling a shift towards a more populist image, aiming to resonate with center right voters who prioritize national security and immigration control.

One of the most discussed moves by the Harris campaign is her endorsement of eliminating taxes on tips for service workers, a policy initially proposed by Trump. During a rally in Las Vegas, Harris announced her support for this idea, which has been seen as a direct borrowing from Trump’s playbook. This move has sparked debate about the originality and confidence of her campaign strategy, as it appears to adopt a policy from a political opponent rather than presenting a distinct platform.

Speaking of her platform: she doesn’t have one. If you visit her website you’ll find a donate button, a bio of her and Governor Walz, and a shop with merchandise. Mimicking elements of Trump’s platform suggests a lack of innovative ideas and could be perceived as a sign of weakness. Winning campaigns typically distinguish themselves with unique messaging and policies rather than borrowing from opponents. Furthermore, the shift towards right-wing populism may transform the race into a contest of who can better embody these ideals. This could potentially alienate some of Harris’s traditional progressive base while attempting to capture undecided or swing voters.

These simply aren’t the moves of a confident campaign that is sailing to victory.

In the 2016 presidential election, Donald Trump faced significant challenges in the polls by the end of August. At that time, Hillary Clinton was leading Trump by notable margins in several key battleground states. For instance, a Washington Post poll indicated that Clinton was ahead by 14 points in Virginia, and a Monmouth University poll showed her with a 9-point lead in Florida, highlighting the uphill battle Trump faced.

Amidst these challenges, the Trump campaign underwent a significant shift in strategy with the appointment of Steve Bannon as the campaign’s chief executive in mid-August 2016. Bannon, known for his populist and aggressive campaign style, brought a new energy and focus to Trump’s campaign. His influence was seen as pivotal in refocusing the campaign’s message and strategy, which included doubling down on Trump’s core themes of anti-establishment rhetoric and appealing to working-class voters. The impact of Bannon’s leadership became apparent in the following weeks.

By September, Trump began to close the gap in the polls, as his campaign effectively capitalized on controversies surrounding Clinton and emphasized issues like immigration and trade that resonated with his base. This strategic pivot was crucial in turning the tide and setting the stage for Trump’s eventual victory in the Electoral College, despite losing the popular vote.

Bannon’s role in the campaign underscored the importance of strategic leadership and messaging in political campaigns, demonstrating how a shift in approach can significantly alter the dynamics of an election. This period marked a turning point for Trump, as his campaign gained momentum and ultimately led to his victory in November 2016.

The Trump campaign needs to follow this playbook again to win. According to Nate Silver: “Our forecast thinks Trump has a 46% chance of winning the Electoral College, but that jumps to 96% when he wins Pennsylvania.” In other words: Harris has a 4% chance of winning if she loses Pennsylvania.

The Trump campaign needs to go all in on PA and in order to do that they need to go all in on White men. As a White man from PA allow me to give some free advice to the Trump campaign on how to get my people energized to vote for him.

If you focus on these three things you will win the White male vote in PA and thus win the Presidency.

Push mass deportations hard. We all notice the areas of PA that we grew up in are increasingly looking like third-world countries. We want our home back and we want these criminal foreigners out, now.

“It’s the economy, stupid.” Many working class White men are struggling to get by with the crazy inflation and stagnate wages. Tell us how you are going to fix it.

Anti-White hatred. No one speaks for us on this issue. Don’t mask the problem by calling it “wokeness” or “DEI” or whatever. Call it what it is: anti-White hatred and tell us how you are going to put a stop to White men being treated like second class citizens in the country they built. Show us the respect and appreciation that we deserve and have not gotten from any politician in decades.

There’s a lot of time left. In the past month alone we’ve seen three political “black swan” events unfold before our eyes. We absolutely will see more of them before election day. I emphasize again how important it is to stay focused, stay energized, and stay positive. Many on the right are being astroturfed and baited into sharing the enemy’s propaganda on their behalf. Please stop doing this. We’re up against a trillion dollar propaganda machine don’t make their job easier by getting their messaging out for them. It’s designed to demoralize our people and galvanize theirs. Stay laser focused on positive messaging and on encouraging everyone you to know to get out and vote.

We are going to win.

Gab to me seems like a right wing version of some crazy commie troon mastodon/GNUSocial instance.

It doesn't help it's owner likes to make a scene on Twitter 24/7, or that they keep biting off more than they can chew every time they announce something as a reaction to "Tech company bans so and so", or that they announced a "pro" option that nobody is going to want to pay money for.
It's because of stormfags(literally). They ruin most everything they touch.

I always keep going back to the last line of this post as a good summary:

I haven't seen his rants, but I don't think it's right to hate on Torba for his efforts. Gab proved that a hugboxes are boring as fuck and may make you hate the people you agree with more than the ones you disagree with. Free Speech is great, but it's boring when it is literally all the angry rants about blacks, muslims, mexicans and jews without any of the humor of pull. Everyone on there just seems really fucking mad and wants to signal how hardcore they are.

Gab was successful in creating an atmosphere of pure free speech, and it sounded like "nigger nigger nigger!" Maybe having some restriction is a good thing? (But not to the extent of Twitter is like now).
