I'm not forgiving people that don't deserve forgiveness. The best thing is cutting contact and leaving her to her fate.

They need to ask first, though. The only forgiveness worth deserving is when something is done wrong and not whom is wronged. In your case, I highly doubt anyone who doesn't deserves forgiveness really takes the time to think that they need you to forgive them.

I think she does b/c narcissists are entitled shitheads who view their children as objects that exist to serve them, but the bigger issue is that malignant narcissists don't think they've done anything wrong in the first place and sure as fuck won't take responsibility for it.

If you won't even admit you abused your kid and that it was wrong and apologize for it, you don't deserve forgiveness.

What I'm saying is, what exactly is forgiveness worth? Only as much value as one puts into it. If they don't value you, your forgiveness is essentially worthless regardless as to whether you think they deserve it.
