If the guy wakes up tomorrow and decides to beg for mercy while throwing a big jubilee for his fans, that's great. But the overwhelming possibility that he's going to continue his temper tantrum until 90% of his audience is people like us waiting for him to embarrass himself further kind of says enough about what Joey here deserves.

There are people on GameFAQs who think Angry Joe is the epitome of reviews. They act like his word is God and we should take it as law. I can't watch most of these guys. Sitting around playing games isn't really a respectable type of employment. But yeah, he doesn't have to do much but play the game then make a stupid video about it. Maybe you get tired of that after awhile. But you are gonna get tired of rotting behind a cubicle or working in retail hell a lot faster. People should just stop watching his ass and let his e-welfare dwindle.

If you are making an "entertaining" product then you really need to stay on board with what the fans want in order to maintain your subscriptions. Stop complaining. You could be at the Walmart customer service desk arguing with obese women over returns. Consider yourself lucky while the whole Youtube fame thing is still pretty viable. I actually want to see it all crash and burn.

There's a lot of great game reviewers out there on the tubenets too, which of course begs the fucking question why in the sugar-frosted fuck Joe thought this shit was going to fly. People watched him because he could handle decent analysis, usually at least rudimentarily knew his shit, and covered games in a timely fashion from my experience.

Now he's doing all this shit that runs completely contrary to how he originally ran things, and again: one really is left wondering why he does it when all it's been doing is bleed his fanbase.

I don't understand why Joe if he wants to go back to smaller sub count and don't want people complaining he not making gaming content just make another channel for like tv show and movie stuff/streaming. I think he's not just being kind of a dick, he seems to be losing his shit... over youtube comments. I read that his Swedish GF (that was on his streams and generally found to be annoying) dumped him at some point recently, as well. Not sure if it might be causing some issues, or it it was caused BY his issues (or unrelated).

Know it's been said many times by now, but this is almost exactly like DSP and his life situation right now; right down to the girlfriend leaving and causing their bloated egos to go haywire, sperging the fuck out and taking out their emotions on the fanbase.

I have absolutely no idea who those people are, but I want to add that James Rolfe actually seems like a mostly normal/likable guy irl. It's interesting that most of the people copying the AVGN style seem to have more in common with the character than the person behind it

James also has had a genuine passion for film and cinematography his whole life, and that hasn't changed at all with AVGN saga going on 10+ years. That's something I honestly don't see in most of these TGWTG cows.
