Angry Joe / Joe Vargas / Jose Antonio Vargas / AngryJoeShow - Streamer, formerly made ANGRY REVIEWS, hates his fans

lol he preordered the $200 edition

how can someone so dumb survive?

Do you honestly believe that this "Internet Famous Influencer" Paid his own money for the special Bethesda Hat? Really? The edition that sold out in under 10 seconds at 3am? Joe was one of the lucky few able to pre-order it? Or do you think the box just showed up in Joe's mailbox, the way it did for Yong Yea? Yeah this was a freebie to Irritable Jose from Bethesda, they just won't say that.

He can just claim it as a business expense. Lots of big gaming Youtubers do. Totalbiscuit outright stated that he's legally allowed to do so, though I can't provide a source; it was years ago.

That increases your itemization on taxes, it doesn't make it free. It's also kind of funny because people pre-ordering games makes reviews basically useless, so you would think if Joe had to do it for business purposes he would at least not go with the silly collector's edition... or not complain when he does.

But I guess he wanted the silly helmet for a skit. Or maybe he was sent it as a poster above suggested, but that would be interesting as I think it would be a direct lie based on what he said in the video.

Anyone questioning whether Joe would actually spend money on a game review is an idiot. His angry reviews usually contain skits that feature various costumes and props (which is why he bought the $200 edition of Fallout 76. It came with a helmet he could use in his video). You'll also notice that in addition to his blue Fallout jumpsuit, he's also wearing the Pip Boy that came with the Fallout 4 collector's edition. Oh, and he also has a prop gun and Other Joe has a blue Fallout jumpsuit, Pip Boy and nuke.

Please think a bit before posting stupid nonsense.

He did say in the video "Does anybody want to buy a helmet?" near the end so it sounded like he was a bit depressed on how bad the game was.

How stupid is Joe that he was actually excited for this game and expecting it to be good? No offense to anyone else who was, but I didn't see any genuine hype for it at all. Only one person I'm friends with was excited for this game after it was announced at E3.

That being said, I will give Joe some credit that he's at least being consistent. He did say in his Fallout 4 review that Bethesda would have to put a lot more effort into future games in order for people to be satisfied with them. The fact that he's unhappy with 76 shows that he's at least sticking to some standards.

I'm not saying or questioning whether or not Jose WOULD spend money on a Fallout Hat. I'm questioning whether he had to. Case in point...

Yong Yea outright showed that these just showed up at reviewer/influencer/journalist offices. Pretty safe bet is Joe was high on the list.

we dont have money to get you a propper bags, we spend it all on buying influencers,,,

Everybody was thinking highly of Bethesda because of how much they enjoyed 3, 4 and New Vegas (myself included)

Nobody had any clue just how fucked 76 would end up being.

Hey, let's take a game series that has been all about a single player experience with deep narrative elements and world-changing choice and plop it in an always-online MMO experience with no NPCs! ANNND let's use the same engine that was outdated years ago with crappy shooting but because it's always-online we'll remove VATs- that way it's impossible to ignore the crappy shooting. Oh, and we'll have microtransactions! Plus we can add all the bugs that come with always-online to the already bug-ridden bethesda program.

All of this was known ahead of time. Anyone who pre-ordered this game should write off the money as being a tax on stupidity. That's part of what I find funny about how angry Joe gets. If people didn't swallow hype like a cracked up hooker, they wouldn't have as much to be upset over.

Being ill-informed is indeed no excuse. It's ridiculous how obvious this disaster was going to be prior to release, both in the instability and dogshit gameplay.

The truth is... the game was rigged from the start.

I just love the shitstorm that's raging over big game publishers recently. They do everything in their power to fuck their own product up beyond repair for a quick buck first, then try to avert the disaster only to get into deeper shit. The salt is glorious and Joe is in the middle of it - on the one end he has rabid fans that are the consumers being fucked with, on the other corporations throwing money at him. And he has to make a choice, either go back to his old ways of shitting all over the publishers without a dime in his pocket from them or turn on the fans for cash and receive a backlash for it, again.

Observe how he'll wait some time for the consensus of the gamers to set and only then publish a review, pretty much repeating everything others said before him. He's a slave of the popular vote now, as without the fans he's not an influencer, and companies don't throw money on people that don't influence sales.

yeah it was realy clear that all talent had left after 4... and the guys who made the last great Fallout game are now working for M$....

In his Red Dead 2 review he has some footage of his old Red Dead 1 review - at a couple of points 2010 Joe and 2018 Joe are onscreen at the same time - man, that's a lot of tacos in 8 years.

ETA - it's also amusing how Other Joe has gone from skinny geek to musclebound Chad in the same time.

At least this shows Yong couldn't be bought with Bethesda shekels as he still trashes the game after he got it. Integrity is an uncommon trait among bigger gaming YouTubers.
