Let's talk about the relation between anime/manga characters and COVID-19, because as we know, good anime girls wear face masks

...and get vaccinated.

Personally, in my headcanon ,I would nominate Eirin Yagokoro from Touhou as the ambassador of vaccine, with her medical knowledge and magical power, she could easily cast a spell of undodgeable danmaku of needles that vaccinate every anti-vaxxers in sight, what do you think? And yep, everyone in Gensoukyou is vaccinated.

In December 2020, Gangan Online published a special edition of Nico Tanigawa's WataMote prequel manga spin-off TomoMote* that was a leaning-on-the-fourth-wall explanation of why the characters weren't wearing masks in the regular WataMote.

TL;DR: People like manga to be realistic but not too realistic and not being able to draw the characters' mouths for too long a period would be too limiting (especially for a character like Tomoko who is known for showing outrageous expressions when she panics).

well think it in the other way: if a 500 years old anime vampire has a jab, you better get your shot as a mortal.
Vaccines travel through the bloodstream though, and vampires don't generate their own blood, therefore the quality of their white blood cells are entirely dependent on their prey, and by me not getting the vax, I become less desirable as prey. Checkmate animeist

If you follow the money all government conspiracies trace back to anime and vampires. My Hero Academia, for example, is a concentrated effort to turn the North American black population gay and normalize vampirism in white chicks.
