Right, so I have Baccano! open in another tab right now,

but, and hear me out on this,

I got distracted and now want to finish all the episodes of Malcolm in the Middle before I get back on it.

And I haven't even started on Slayers yet.

Please don't hit me.

I'm finding it hard not to. But... just for you, I'll hold myself back.

...
Nah, jking I never watched Slayers either. *yawn*

Slayers... Apparently they are actually based on these fantasy novels and Amelia is actually an ascended extra (she was initially a very minor character) and the anime sort of does its own thing mostly. As least so I heard from a little dunsparce...

I still like the anime, however, even if it does tend to deviate from the source material and does its own thing. From what I gather, if you read the novels Slayers is based on, you're gonna have a different experience.

Also, Attack on Titan, I gotta read/watch that one, from what I heard it sounds kinda gritty like Game of Thrones in the same vain in that lots of characters die. Plus, the theme song really channels some Luca Turilli vibes.

I'm not sure about Attack on Titan. Doesn't seem like my sort of thing. Although I did like how I made the pun, "Attack on Teen Titans," and that managed to visibly upset my brother.

And yeah, the theme song is catchy as hell.

Alright, so my brother just burst into my room with a bag of burgers because he found out they had Initial D on Netflix. And, don't get mad, here me out on this, last time I watched it was when I was 11, and I wanna rewatch it. So Baccano and Slayers is still on hold.

I'm sorry, I couldn't resist the call of that bitchin soundtrack. It really is quite balla.

Heh, it's gonna be a while before I give this song a rest... I imagine everyone in the house is gonna hate me by August.

I might try watching Attack on Titan thanks to this image alone:

I'm pretty sure someone here knows who Osamu Tekazu is, because I just finished watching one his works: Bagi, the Monster of Mighty Nature.

As I watched it, I couldn't help but try and make a joke about furries, especially since the title character is anthropomorphic cat-girl who was a result from a science experiment.

All this talk about attack on titan made me want to check it out. First episode really impressed me actually. I think I'll really enjoy the series if it manages to stay this strong.

Berserk Golden Age Arc III is out, fucking A!!

Super excited to watch it, the movies blows the original anime out of the water. It's like the Hellsing OVAs all over again.

I'm into lots of oldschool anime, like Fist of the Northstar, Harlock, Space Battleship Yamato, old school Gundam, Macross, Mazinger, Lupin the 3rd etc. But I watch new stuff too. The last anime I watched was Witchblade, last month.

So I watched the Berserk movie and that... That was some fucked up shit going on in that film. Like... Yeah.

Bringing this thread back because I'm watching Free! Iwatobi Swimming Club.

It is completely fabulous, and actually makes me want to get back into swimming a bit. Anyone else watching it?

I wanna watch Free and Iwamote. Lately I've just been watching Sentai and Kamen Rider shows, and shows like Star Trek and Buffy, but I should finish Saint Seiya, I'm already on like ep 60.

if you thought that was fucked up, you should watch the Violence Jack OVA's by Go Nagai (funfact: Kentaro miura was inspired by Go Nagai's work specifically Devilman and Violence Jack to create berserk)

Violence Jack was crazy! make sure you get the subtitled uncut versions.

Oh yeah, that dub is funny, Reminds me of the dub of Angel Cop.
