I second Fire Punch, I consider it a truly masterful work. Better than the author's next work Chainsaw Man, imo, even if I maybe *like* CSM a little better, I consider Fire Punch's quality higher.

What sort of genres do you like and dislike?Anyone got recommendations for some good complete manga <10 volumes? Anything remotely popular tend to run pretty long, there doesn’t seem to be much awareness/spotlight on shorter manga even though they probably comprise the vast numerical majority.
Only things I don’t care much for are serious-ish romance and sports, everything else I’m willing to give a shot. What sort of genres do you like and dislike?
You should read Believe Machine, it's a pure ecchi kino.If I say most of my anime/manga experience is softcore/sometimes borderline porn type Ecchi; will I be relentlessly mocked? Cause even that stuff takes effort to do well. I wasted 3 hours of my life reading an awful manga that proved as much, cause it has all the elements; it was just garbage in everything it tried to do. If I'm gonna be a weirdo, I want to be an entertained weirdo. Just as an FYI that I'm not a complete coomer dipshit; I've watched all of the original Dragon Ball, Deadman Wonderland, Jojo Parts 1-3 + 5 and Parasyte The Maxim, to name some non-weirdo stuff.
Ciguatera - From the creator of the gross-out manga Ping Pong Club (you'll see the same artsyle with the over the top reaction faces) is a story about a geeky kid, his friend, a bully and his first girlfriend. There's bullying, revenge and trying to figure out how to be an adult and overcoming the past. There's 6 volumes and a total of 69 chapters. (nice.) https://mangadex.org/title/d69b2a3d-2f5c-442a-b9f6-28b4118aa994/ciguateraOnly things I don’t care much for are serious-ish romance and sports, everything else I’m willing to give a shot.
What's the manga? Don't tease us like that.I wasted 3 hours of my life reading an awful manga that proved as much, cause it has all the elements; it was just garbage in everything it tried to do. If I'm gonna be a weirdo, I want to be an entertained weirdo.
Dude, I'm serious; it's actually garbage, not even in a "well at least it's funny trash" way, it's just bad. I'd unironically feel like an asshole if I made you aware of it's existence. All I'm going to tell you is that it started in 2014 and it's only received/had announced a live action thing for it as opposed to any anime in the 8 years since. What's the manga? Don't tease us like that.
I watch garbage anime just to see how garbage they can be. Need to balance out the good with some real shit, you know? You can PM it to me if you don't want anyone else to know about it, I legit am just super curious about it.Dude, I'm serious; it's actually garbage, not even in a "well at least it's funny trash" way, it's just bad. Alright then. Don't say I didn't warn you, though.I watch garbage anime just to see how garbage they can be. Need to balance out the good with some real shit, you know? You can PM it to me if you don't want anyone else to know about it, I legit am just super curious about it.
He's clearly not serious, not one box of Stree Overlord.
What about Fire Punch makes you think it's of higher quality? I'm not trying to talk shit, I just legit want to know because you might have noticed something I totally missed which is likely given the complexity of such a weird manga like Fire Punch.I second Fire Punch, I consider it a truly masterful work. Better than the author's next work Chainsaw Man, imo, even if I maybe *like* CSM a little better, I consider Fire Punch's quality higher.

Three chapters. I read this. Two nukes weren't enough.
