Happy birthday king of the spineless slackers that whines to pity wins! Doraemon is a classic, though I mostly enjoy it when Nobita's schemes blow in his face after multiple warnings from best robo cat. It's this character's birthday

One thing though, whatever happened to the whole "doraemon ends and it was Nobita in a coma all along!!!", that shit spread everywhere and I'm convinced that it's just a creepy pasta seeing how Doraemon is still alive and well today.
Good to know, I'm still going to ignore it exists, reading Frieren seems like it would be a hellish proposal so prefer to let them accumulate. For those that have been reading it, it seems that the Frieren manga is no longer on hiatus.
We have a Gouf hater in our midsts...08th ms team is terrible.
The only thing moving the series forward now is what overly dramatic twist it can go for, no matter the setup or if it makes sense. Best I can say is that it SEEMS it's backing off on the incest between Aqua and Ruby by having Kana and Aqua behonest about their feelings and the last chapter having Aqua and Ruby behave like siblings for once. It's pretty much in "lets see how hard it derails" mode. We already had the TWIST that Mr Evil McMan is NOT the final bad, it's an obsessed ex member of Ai's Idol troupe or some shit like that. I honestly don't know where this story can even go anymore.Y'know, when I was reading Oshi no Ko, and got to the part where somebody decides that Mr Evil McMan must have faked his death because "it's a loophole!!" even though there's no evidence for it, just because he's just so evil, I thought to myself... wouldn't it be funny if it turned out he wasn't a bad guy after all, and it was all just a misunderstanding? After all there's literally nothing beyond circumstantial evidence that he was behind the stalker attacks. Good to hear they actually did that but, like, made it even more retarded. I woulda gone with, the stalker was the dad's friend but was someone the dad really shouldn't have trusted. But instead it's whatever the fuck this is, neat. Maybe later I'll go find some place that has the whole thing (Mangadex only has it up until the translator dropped it for being l*censed) and have a good wallow.
Amusingly enough, Black Clover came back for a couple of chapters and I did enjoy them. Black Clover is the most shounen slop of shounen slop, but it does it's job well, never got to the points of seething hatred that Fairy Tail or Bleach ended up leaving me with. It's still by the numbers at best, but it does deliver the shounen premise consistently.
