The appeal of Jojo is that it is legitimately good (part 8’s ending notwithstanding). The enjoyment is sincere.
imo the main draw of jojo is that whether it is bad or good - be it part 2 good or part 7 good - it never commits the crime of boring you. there's always something happening, and even in some of the worsts moments of the series it's usually pretty fun.
this and stands are essentially a cheat code to force fight scenes to be interesting and keep you engaged. it's never just a matter of who punches who the hardest until the scenario decides one of them actually is stronger and wins ; the only fight that really does that is Dio vs. Jotaro (which is pretty bad), and even then most of the fight actually has them do something instead of mindlessly punching.

So the Ghost in the Shell Legacy Box finally arrived. TLDR is that it is the best English version available.

So first a couple of pictures of the box and general content:

As for the quality of the production. At first glance and after a quick look through the volumes, it seems to be pretty good. Seems to be somewhere between the old single volume release and the recently Fully Compiled edition. Paper, ink are fine, and I didn't see any issues with the printing in terms of text or pictures. Don't know if there is demand to do a bigger comparison between all three releases.

One important thing with this release is that it is finally uncensored and on parity with the Japanese release.
The censorship is about the following page. Here the old and Fully Compiled releases:

As for the actual page:

As for additional material that comes with the box. Sorry for the angled pictures. The light in my room didn't help neither that the posters were trying to transform back and roll out:

So far, I think it's definitely worth the money. It's uncensored, with the correct orientation and in a good format. The myriad of poster are a nice addition. Only thing I would have liked would be to include maybe a small booklet with interviews from Masamune and people surrounding the manga. If people want, I can take more pictures or make more comparisons.

Part 6 has nothing. The main characters are all planks of wood that barely get along (and not even in a fun way), and like 90% of the story takes place in a drab prison, the villain's is boring as shit and his motivation makes no sense, and it ends with all the characters dead, what is even the draw supposed to be here?

Part 6 was never going to get a good adaptation because its not a good story.
I'll agree part 6 was the worst so far, though even at its worst it was still fun to watch. Foo Fighters was great, some of the parts like the death game were good, Pucci was a different sort of villain that had justification not to go and kill the cast, and it did a good job going full on apocalyptic by the end.

Fate Strange Fake, nothing fucking happened this episode.

I don't give a shit about the master of fake caster with his gay niggerfied jobber clan.
I don't give a shit about fake berserker (that isn't in no way a berserker) that is just boring mary sue that won't win but will 100% survive the events.
I don't give a shit about true lancer with his lame nihilism, basically diet Kiritsugu. Only Kiritsugu had an actual past and convictions, not anime child soldier #74959 (though he is the closest the anime has for an actual main character).

At least they didn't introduce a new character this episode. But the anime just plays what is essentially a death game as overly safe Marvel team up. Yeah there can be teamups for big threats, but no one is fighting one another besides established evil faction.

Anyone watches Darwin Jihen?
I do, but I'm late on the last 2 or 3 episodes. It's fucking dumb, the Vegan thing looks like the retarded debates I had with leftists in high school, the plot is unbelievable, but everything make me laugh the whole time.

I read the original Ghost in the Sell manga and I have come to two conclusions

1. Japan will never have proper labor regulations. It is physically impossible. The salaryman will work 100 hours per week.

2. Despite other sentient machines existing, the Puppeteer immediately goes for the bipolar/bisexual cyborg cop. Not even AIs can resist crazy "exotic" females.

I hope that's a troll.

Yoko Taro is an absolute merc that would gladly do anything for money (and I respect him for that) but .... let the fucking thing rest. The remakes were already senseless abominations, this is simply reaching Star Wars levels of not letting the fucking thing go.

Considering that the message that Anno wanted to leave is "grow up and get a real life so you'll get your big tiddies glasses girl without even trying" they should simply stop
