So Gil is staying in character, as is Herc. Narita did learn well from Nasu after all
In character with Heaven's Feel of getting merc'd by a random woman who's a grail vessel and indirectly controls Berserker.

Does Herc still have 9 lives? It would have been a better explanation for him surviving the poison than bullshit "technically it's not a real poison".

Nah the mud just keeps him alive. In the LN it's because he has Chiron's immortality for a free revive because despite Gil's claim in episode 4, Herc is allowed to be a cheap bitch

It's almost like, it was a marketing stunt or something. Worked too, sure got you niggers talking about it. "Ahh jeez dude, we just accidentally released something we just said would super duper never ever be seen by anyone!! Oopsie doodle! Oh WELLS!! Guess we will make an official event out of it! Be sure to watch it! Teehee."

Come on man.
meh, shit was still funny, they dunked on anima and even gave the porn comics a shout out

The eva 30th anniversary special has leaked on nyaa.si. Quality looks great too. Check the comments of the rip for the subtitles and how much to offset the delay to get them to work.

Really cute, no idea if it finally gets them to make a definitive happy ending series (though I think the remake films did have Asuka survive). If they do I wish they kill Mari, worst character.

Just Watched Akira. That was one trippy movie with Beautiful visuals and art work. No wonder its still getting praises til this day.
I didn't enjoy the movie that much and the manga is only slightly better. Akira never won me over for whatever reason. But I also didn't watch or read it as a teenager compared to GitS, so maybe that's why.

I think it's just modern retard slang for "being awesome".
As best I understand it the idea it refers to is having an imposing presence, one that communicates just how dangerous a character is long before any actual fight starts. Like the 90's anime thing where you'd see the silhouette of a character, pitch black except for the reflection off their glasses just before they go to town on someone.
This scene, for example. Say what you will about annoying zoomer slang but the concept is valid and it's something anime has been doing for a long time. It's especially effective here because Vash is up until this scene presented as a having a goofy, unserious demeanor with a tendency towards conflict avoidance; when he snaps and drops that façade the show gives you these slow, still shots to emphasize via contrast just how scary it is when he stops trying to hide his true nature and exactly why he goes to such great lengths to avoid engaging in serious violence.

Ten down, three to go. Fags are whining about pacing as if Fate has ever had good pacing. People seem to forget what dumbass niggas (anime fans) such as myself watch this stuff for. Good animation, hype beast fights, aura farming, and overall soy face reactions
I am souring in this adaptation and I know very well why: changing and cutting shit up.

Do you know what is my favorite Kara no Kyoukai story? Oblivion Recorder. Guess what happened when ufotable touched that story to put on screen? They butchered it, they butchered my favorite story with my favorite magus and my favorite magic that lives rent free in my mind ever since 2012.

This anime feels like someone telling a joke without the right context, intonation, charisma and everything that a good joke has. And at the same time it is told in a walkie talkie cutting stuff up as he tells it inside a tunnel blocking the signal.

It is really sad to see people clapping at it like it is a masterpiece because not even the original text was it, but this adaptation absolutely ruins it in every way.

Another scene of Dumas was cut today, one with the flashback with Edmond and that ties to John Wingard. So for the anime only, what happened? How? We dont fucking know, because the content was told in such a shitty way that it hurts what could be.

Took a break from anime for a long time while I was living in Japan because it’s just too similar to everyday life there, but now that I’m gone I don’t mind it.
I've often thought if I lived in Japan I would watch much less anime than I do because of how risky torrenting is there, from what I've heard. Although maybe it's just another one of the many "weird japan" myths.

No it’s not a myth. Strangely CP possession and even intimacy with a teenager is seen as a non-crime there and you can usually get out of what is called Enjou Kosai (translation: compensated dating) by paying off the family of the victim civilly to have charges dropped, but god forbid you torrent Dragon Ball Z you’re fucked.

But aside from Nyaa.si, I am mainly seeding to private trackers in addition to using a seed box and Mullvad VPN, so the Japanese government would never know. NHK did try to enforce signing me up for the TV service, but I never answered the doorbell.

God, I have no idea how it is NHK has gotten away with that shit for as long as they have, and why it is Japanese citizens haven't tried telling them to pound sand.

Lmao
As fans of the original work, I can see why they did all the cutting. Every fight in Volume 5 ends exact where it began. They amount to nothing and as such having all the unnecessary fat trimmed off is a good thing. The only gripe I have is that Dumas isn't seen using Musketeer's Masquerade on John so it confuses people as to why he comes back.

I don't understand the point of John. "Dude dies suddenly" works as a fakeout for the true main character, but he isn't even a contender. Dumas himself being essentially Emiya with less power and more flexibility is a nice idea, but I have no idea how anyone expected him to win a grail war.

Is there any justification in the novels why Saber fought Gil?

So, Beastars' final season part 2 (aka Season 4, technically, kek) is out! I skimmed a bit, and it seems the ending has changed. I snooped around and supposedly, the final seasons change the ending story arcs to be less dumb and rushed like the manga. Can anyone confirm? Because I recall that the final arc swings from borderline Jojo stands, to inane politics, to outright Baki bullshit, and a shitty ending where the black market is closed and everyone is happy! Until a carnivore is hungry and accidentally eats his herbivore neighbour due to not having access to meat. Oh, and the fish people were willing to give themselves as food to fix that issue, but the current Beastars shot that down because he's an asshole.

you can't fucking link anything now because of muh age restriction
retarded ass jeets
It's not even a cool sequence, generic ass jumping on and between building while """evading""" multiple shiny_sword.png while he throws Excalibur shots like weak ass fireballs. It even just cuts to the end of Saber crashing to the church for yet more memberberries mystery box.

i blame modern animation more than the story but hey it's more or less the same

John is meant to be the showcase for Dumas' NP and a statement on Heroism in the modern world. But mostly the showcase.

Nope. The fight is just longer in the LN with them explaining that Saber is fast as fuck boy because he's the origin of the phrase "Godspeed". And a spell or power in Gil's vault that people call a Golden Dragon. It all ends the same anyway so we can get back to the best part and core of this story- Ayaka. Because those nerdy girls started drawing and paying out the ass for their self insert girl
