I'll put it in my backlog. The Last is admittedly retarded, especially for someone that didn't read Shippuden, but I can't help to be happy that the show ended with most characters having a relationship and children. Unlike most shonen that are too scared of committing their characters so it ends up that the characters being 30 with no kids.
That actually is rare, isn't it? And they end up being sexless virgins in their mid twenties still awkward about so much as holding hands.

Not again you fucking cunts.

Still, nearly all shonen have an harem. You have discarded potential love interests in Bleach, Naruto, One Piece and Pokemon films. And all those films are a waste of time just to see some nice set pieces
No. All of those have between 2 and 0 characters with any romantic chemistry with the male protagonist (actually don't quote me on pokemon but as far as I know only Misty and Serena seem to want to be more then just platonic). Every shonen has female characters because it's easier to sell Sakura body pillows then Sasuke rather then them being necessary to the plot. Meanwhile the main conflict of Tenchi isn't even resolving the shit about the three goddesses seeing if they could make a creation more powerful than themselves but actually just how does Tenchi endure and resolve the physical, political and ethical dangers of having the most dangerous girlfriends in the universe.

I heard CSM is ending?
Part 2 is ending, the whole thing may be ending as well. We'll know in 2 weeks. Either way, from what we have seen there's strong signs of an at best not-great final act. Worst case it may compete with JJK/MHA/AoT for worst manga ending in recent memory.

I love how with the turnaround of opinion on the MHA ending after the extra chapter a year ago and the final season, there are still people who stubbornly consider it bad, even though by doing so they're associating themselves with retards obsessed with cuck porn. Anyways, I struggle to understand what was the point of CSM Part 2 other than Fujimoto scamming his dickriders into thinking everything he shat out is some work of avant-garde genius, but I think even pseudos have started realizing he wasn't pretending to be retarded this time.

I honestly didn't pay enough attention to it after the initial ending to know one way or the other. As for Chainsaw man, I don't like it for some sort of 3deep5u shit; I like it because it's fun. It's got just enough method to balance out the madness(usually) and the main character is refreshingly simple; he's a fascinating balance of unhinged stupidity and crazy ideas that he somehow makes work. The whole thing is just a brilliantly braindead rollercoaster and I find it endearing.
From what I hear, the final panel of the most recent chapter of CSM has been updated to no longer have "Final Chapter Coming 3/24" at the bottom, just "to be continued" instead. This is not reflected on the site where I read it though, so idk.

Shonen Jump's official scan. Maybe Fujimoto really was just fucking with us.

That's why I liked it too. Part 2 didn't let up on all the crazy shenanigans of Part 1 but it was definitely missing something and sort of just became a meme manga you read for reactions every week and instantly forget it.

You need characters to follow to have the events have any emotional resonance, but the cast of 2 is either wasted or bad copies of previous part. So the last few chapters just felt from opening a random page from a Garth Ennis comic, only nothing matters since there are no rules.

Honestly Aki was the only character in the series I gave a shit about and his arc was the highlight of all of it everyone else is pretty interchangeable hence why Fujimoto was comfortable with stacking up the body count.

I think the entire cast starting from the Bomb Girl arc was solid, it did a good job to make the reader fall under the illusion that it's the usual manga case of settling into normality after a high intensity start.

Yeah, none of the part 2 characters are very interesting. Asa was good up until after the scene at the aquarium; it feels like she lost a lot of her characterization after that to make room for Yoru to have the spotlight, too bad Yoru was never as compelling a character/villain as Asa and Makima were. I also liked Yoshida; more accurately, I liked to hate Yoshida, fuck that nigger. Fujimoto did write him pretty much perfectly to be hateable. I was glad when he died, both times it happened. Nayuta was also good for the all of 2 chapters she appeared in; makes you wonder why Fujimoto didn't introduce her alongside Denji at the start.

I remember getting to this panel at the end of the Aging Devil arc and thinking: "Denji, your new friends fucking suck."
