2026 manly tears. Caught up with episode 4, couldn't watch it last night. 3D Shin looks fucking abysmal. Heart's HIDEBU felt incredibly weak, _BUT_ they kept the original "pigs belong in a pigsty" line, which was censored in I think all earlier releases. I can shit on the animation quality all day long, but they seem extremely dedicated to being faithful to the manga, both in story and appearance.

Honestly, yeah. I don't consider myself a Sailor Moon fan, but I had a lot more fun with the '90s anime than I did with Crystal because of this. Kinda funny, too, because Ikuhara obviously hated working on the series prior to S.

I noticed that Crystal rubbed me the wrong way, and I couldn't really place why. I used to watch the 90's anime with my sister, and I remember it being a lot more enjoyable. Characterization probably had a lot to do with that.

That and the animation being stilted. The 2010s was just a rough era for Toei in general, I noticed.

That's what I find the biggest improvement from the manga. I do love that we got a Sailor V episode too. I wish Venus was second in command though like in the manga. Twice now we have been denied her stabbing Beryl with the sword.

Kaorinite being leader of the Witches 5 and having a magic mirror well is cool but S really made her more dangerous than anyone could have ever expected. She is the one villain in the entire series not counting Nehelenia to be revived.

For all that filler sucks, Sailor Moon was one of the best series, structurally, to have filler matter.

The 90s show was a Super Sentai-like that adapted more of the tropes - the marketable monster designs, the soap opera aspects, the villainous threat being present but not a serious danger - and used the extended length to its advantage by taking the generals that only exist in one chapter and making story arcs out of them. There were a few issues - Sailor Moon S spends so much time with Kaorinite, Eudial and Mimette that Tellu, Viluy and the twins get a single episode each, you could probably have taken a few of the early episodes' plots and given to them - but the fact that it let the girls be friends, hang out, and more helps them feel more fleshed out than the highly encapsulated mangá/Crystal versions.

Half the animu you see nowadays gets shekels from WB or Netfux or Amazon or some other kosher monopoly. The rot spreads using media as a vector, look no further than America itself, how the jews got in via the music industry and movies, and now we have the propagandistic slop that passes for "entertainment" in le current year. Oy....

I've been way to busy to keep up with most shows recently. Is there anything good this season? or is it a dud season?

And the forums and chat rooms abound with discussions on censorship, the undubbed Stars, also the infamous R episode involving Chibiusa and the dinosaur that went undubbed and unreleased until 2015.

Still have no idea why it was cut. Her Majesty pissed that Usagi uses her power to destroy a rock?

Looks like a season to check something on your backlog. I'm watching only 'Gals Can't Be Kind to Otaku!?', and it's a funny but predictable comedy. The characters are very pleasant to look at, even the mc and the background nobodies are alright.

The only ones I heard someting about is the one made by the InuYasha author, "Mao" - apparently a more mature InuYasha - and the ecchi comedy about the demon girl with giant boobs who fall in love with a plain dude - and I'm staying the hell away from that one.
 
I gave in and ended up reading the Saga of Tanya the Evil manga (not gay enough to read the light novel, fuck you).
I ended up bing reading all i could find in like 3 days. That shit is KINO.

You guys are overthinking this. He's obviously referring to the advanced mathematics that were pioneered in India thousands of years ago, some of which made its way to Japan long ago during the cultural exchange with China that brought Buddhism, and the author just isn't enough of a chud to realize and clarify that this doesn't apply to retarded modern day India.

Apparently they were pretty decent at math up until the Br*tish finished the curb stomp of Indian culture that Islam began. The history of science/mathmatics tends to make pre-European enlightenment India (and Islam) look a lot less retarded then they are in current year.
