There's no other obvious money leak, especially now that they sold the house. It would make sense if either one of them frequent the Indian casinos, but there's no evidence of a consistent dream on their resources. 5 figures in shitty tattoos and girls trips isn't enough to bankrupt someone who just sold a million dollar house in Seattle. For him to have gotten the mortgage, he would have to show some sense of financial stability, especially since he didn't have traditional income.

I'm no real estate mogul but I'm pretty certain if you sell your home with a mortgage still on it you have to pay off the mortgage in full because the collateral is now owned by someone else.
