And hell no, I'd never want to close the forum, unless Chris was honestly trying to get his life straight and we all agreed that it was time to end this and wish him well. I was just suggesting that I am probably not the only autistic person here.

Really? Then what do you think might be? It's always possible she does actually like him and she does genuinely consider him a friend, but... I dunno, even over Facebook she doesn't seem to behave, yanno, friendly. Even my friends in other countries are closer than Anna and Chris seem. But obviously everyone does friendship their own way.

Anyway.

She could just have some kind of weird saint complex--like she has to defend his poor pathetic creature at any cost because it makes her feel complete to suffer for someone? Some people are like that.

Apart from just being a contrary bitch, she seems to enjoy "doing battle" with those who she views as morally beneath her, and like any good white knight, her chosen battleground is the internet where she can take as long as she needs to formulate her replies, or can just choose to ignore anybody too troublesome, whilst still giving herself that smug satisfaction of winning and being morally superior.

One way to look at it could be that she uses Chris as bait so she can confront trolls, or even just anybody who she hasn't personally approved .
 
So basically she just wants to White Knight for her own happiness and Chris was just the first really white-knight-able schlub who crossed paths with her? And now that he's being trolled (still, after, what, nearly a decade?), there's no reason for her to go looking elsewhere for someone to defend.
 
It has nothing to do with white knighting Chris, because she has insulted him multiple times. She wants to be the center of attention. That's why she held a "troll conference" with people during Chris' prime and refused to talk about anything other than herself. I don't see what else it could be.
 
That's pretty much what I figured, but then people started saying it wasn't about her being an attention whore. If it's not about the attention Chris brings her, then I wondered what WOULD motivate her.

I'm still of the opinion that she just wants attention and Chris is a good way of getting it.

Nah, she'll block many key routes to attention.

It's probably just her feeling like she's essentially the salvation army.
 
As long as we're on the topic of Anna - does anyone know if she's spoken/written a single word to Chris since the fire? I bet she's laying low and hoping that Chris won't try to show up on her doorstep.

Maybe, but she's got quite a few of Chris' key trolls blocked, so, I don't know.

She made one comment in one of his post-fire posts that had nothing to do with anything and then got called out for being a shit person.

To me, Anna is as fake as a Chinese made knockoff. If she was his real friend, she would have to take time out of her "busy" schedule to call him or visit him. Even though we did not hear from her during the fire, you would think a good friend would help him.

Actually, I was referring to that one post where she was basically just cheering on her cousin in his contest of Internet dick-waving when one of the MHS crew pointed out that she hadn't said a damn thing to Chris despite his house having been on fire.

EDIT: Oh, it's the same incident but I really wish to emphasize that the aforementioned dick-waving contest was all happening in comment section for a post where Chris was updating people on how he was doing after the fire and that Anna didn't even bother to give a "gee Chris sorry that your house was engulfed in flames" before giving her thoughts on the little e-spat.
 
It's always possible she sent him a PM or called or something--presumably he knows her number and it's one he'll pick up for--but yeah. She doesn't exactly come across as being super-duper-fluffy-friendly to him on FB.
 
Always confused me how she was cheering him on in every aspect, yet never helped Chris get help of any kind. This became even more obvious after the fire, when she never gave any words of comfort or any material goods (at least Weenieman gave him something). :C
