I know it's against the rules for the general user to make threads directed to Chris but with this recent info about Barb's "Holey buttocks" (possibly being some kind of bedsores or maybe ulcers) couldn't some kind of True and Honest thread be made by the mods in the announcements section, advising Chris to take her to the hospital or at least urging him to look up info on ulcers or bedsores to see if she is really in that bad of shape?

Obviously we don't know exactly what is wrong with her and he could be exaggerating but his description sounded awful and we do know of the sanitation conditions they live in plus Barb's lack of movement, so this really could be something quite bad. He may not read it, he may read it and ignore it (there may be people from this forum who have some kind of communication with Chris and are already telling him this) but if there's even a slim chance of it helping out in such a potentially serious situation, then shouldn't it be tried? After the death of Bob, I'm sure he's a lot more aware of the mortality of his parents and that he's reaching out to Cole shows how desperate he is.

Barb's terrible and all but if her possible death could be prevented with the slightest assistance from the forum then it should be or else we are accepting that we won't put effort into anything and are as bad as Chris and I don't have to tell you that I'm not as bad as Chris so by default you're worse than... well, you get the idea. 卐

Hmm Yeah. Well Firstly we don't know what is wrong with Barb. Keep in mind our diagnoses is from Chris, so it could be anything. Maybe he thinks his Mothers Bum is Sacred, or making he was making some kind of Autistic Reference

Second, Chris doesn't even take the advice from people he considers friends. He would just ignore anything his perceived enemies would say.

Third. I am Sure if Barb has any health problems Chris bitches endlessly to the galpals about it. If there is something life threatening with barb they would like tell Chris to do something about it (and have their advice be Promptly Ignored)

in all seriousness though, Barb is an adult. If she needs medical attention it's up to her to seek it out unless she is physically or mentally incapable of doing so. Plus, we have no way to know that she hasn't already done exactly that, and that Chris is simply changing her dressings on schedule with a physicians instructions.
 
Although this is a good idea, I don't think Chris will bother taking advice by reading this forum.
 
For all we know, Barb could have a case of Munchhausen by proxy and is stabbing herself in the ass just to get Chris to nurture her.

Then she'd be stabbing someone else. It's just Munchausen's if you do it to yourself.
 
I suppose a feel-good sticky could be made for these sorts of posts. It'll be for therapy and nothing else, like the "write a letter and don't send it" exercise, or a 4chan thread where people post about their most embarrassing moment/worst thing that ever happened to them/hottest incest encounter stories.

The only thing I fear is that creating such a thread would provide a false sense of security, causing people to think that Chris reads and considers their posts.
 
Well, I for one am glad Hitler had the sense to ask about this sort of thing instead of just letting autism take over and do it without reading the rules.

More proof that even Hitler isn't as bad as Chris.

Chris won't care.

However, if you want to do this nice, considerate thing for Chris don't start a thread for people to post in. Put up an announcement or sticky in the Chris forum and keep it brief.
 
Chris would assume the hospital staff is full of CWCki trolls.

From what I know about Chris, I think they actually see the doctor all the time, or at least at one point they did. Like if Barb started coughing, they'd schedule a doctor's appointment.

I appreciate your concern for Barb, it's good to hear that you all don't want her to die because she mothered Chris who GIVES AUTISTICS LIKE US A BAD NAME!!!111111111ONE, but I'm guessing she's probably already seen a doctor.

That and Chris wouldn't listen anyways.
