But serious, i do like the Fate universe for the darker aspects. The mages have a "through all means necessary" attitude, which gives room for out of the box thinking. Throw a girl into a insect pit to awaken latent powers, use kids as battery's to summon a hero without being a chosen participant, squash yourself into a paste so your essence can be used to create a homunculus, lovely stuff. But yeah i do agree with you it can be a bit edgy sometimes, Shinji whining about not being a true mage and not getting shiny toys was certainly irritating, but thats why we have Taiga, the beer loving career woman who only seems a danger to herself and those who dont get her pro nouns right.

In OP’s defense Fate: Zero is a lot of faggy edgelord bullshit that creates more plot holes and inconsistencies than it fixes. It’s basically just cope for Gilgamesh fans and their micro-penises.

I didn't say it was good, there were some things that were interesting and that was it. But if you want me to be honest, i like Unlimited Bladeworks the most. But that was probably because i was binge watching everything Japanese during summer when i still was handsome and in highschool so nostalgia might play a role here.

Edit: Of all of Nasu Kinokos stuff i like The Garden of Sinners much more than his Fate shit, if anything i think its his only decent work.
