gavin was told by hundreds of people how bad the dozens of decisions he made truely were. I'm more ashamed of Ryan Katsu Riviera for willingly becoming his Kato after the Charlottesville fallout, he should have jumped onto literally any of the other assholes that were in the sector at that point, i imagine Ryan would have been better appreciated if he hooked his life onto Gas Digital or Redbar or Pat dixon or any of the numerous other people that weren't on a massive downward trajectory.

I think what really hurt Gavin was he didn't really bring anything new to the table. Once you peeled away the edgyness and the lib-triggering he was just a bog-standard center-right conservative. After 2017 nobody cared about epically owning SJWs anymore so people like him and Milo, both guys who were popular but didn't really bring any theory or 'sustenance' to the conversation, fell to the wayside while guys like Jordan Peterson were still selling out huge rooms for speaking appearances.
I think this is also a huge part of why Tranthony has been on a downward slide since he got fired from O&A. When he was among Opie and New York comedians not named Nick Dipaolo he was the conservative voice in a room full of kinda lefty guys, so there was a slightly deeper discussion of current issues that sometimes led to interesting conversation and good content. But when he's all by himself on his hugbox network he just parrots the same stale talking points as any conservative over age 70. He doesn't have a particularly complex or interesting worldview, so why would anyone pay to hear it?

There were a lot of stories about what happened that day that got briefly mentioned over the years. There was more one than one girl in the studio that day, an entire group of them was present. There was one girl that allegedly tried jumping out a window to escape. Another one had to be carried out because she was so fucked up. I don't know if any of the girls were underage, but Norton did blatantly admit that he took one of the girls into one of the offices and fucked her.
Even if she wasn't underage, it still isn't a good look for Norton. He never directly said she was drunk, but it was kind of implied by the other stories that all girls were shitfaced.

Ronnie B nailed him perfectly; he got lost and being funny simply wasn't what he wanted to do anymore. He wanted to seethe about niggers and he thought being "hilarious!" for the previous 15 or so years was going to be enough to carry him into another decade + of "They don't BEHAVE! And the media won't be OPEN and HONEST about it!". Niggers consume his every waking moment and probably a good deal of his dreams.
And as already stated countless times here and elsewhere, the cultural zeitgesit in which he launched the Good Ship Compound couldn't have possibly been any more advantageous to this BASED type of content. But he couldn't be bothered to make it anything more than a trashier, less funny Info Wars.
