You're not really missing anything. I listened to it for the first few weeks and it was painfully boring, even when Norton was on. If anyone here is still listening to it and it has gotten better, let me know.

It hasn't gotten better or worse, every show is like his very first on WABC. Like 99% of conservative radio, its boring, unoriginal, dull, retarded, unfunny. He uses the same talking points as everyone else at WABC. Lacks a lot of self-awareness. Makes his dislike of Blacks known but wouldn't dare be as vitriolic as he is on X. The only unique thing he does is voice impressions and complain about John. If you've ever heard Mancow then its just like TACS

He divorced Niki Cox, saw his career tank (he blames Bert Kreischer and Joe Rogan), went back to coaching youth wrestling, and had an addiction relapse. Instead of picking up alcohol again, he picked up Adderall. When he was 50 in 2021, his loved ones had an intervention. Jay says he has been clean since then.

Kreischer's material is so basic that you could steal it by farting too loudly. Did Mohr actually steal, though? Or was it more like Kreischer had a fight with Mohr, cried to Daddy Rogan, and Rogan got mad?

Just think about how many of the people we’re talking about are drunks, recovered or otherwise. Makes me glad I gave it up when I did. The reality is the amount Bert drinks, for as long as he did, will have long-lasting health effects. What's a very bad sign is Bert, in his interview on We Might Be Drunk, keeps downplaying the correlation between chronic alcoholism and blood clots.

To anyone reading this post today, tomorrow, or in an archive a hundred years from now: chronic alcoholism significantly increases your chances of developing blood clots because it raises your number of platelets. The fact that Bert doesn't see this as a reason to quit drinking altogether is a really bad sign. However, now I'm starting to veer into Bert Kreischer territory, so I'll stop there.

The thing I absolutely loved about Black Earl is that he was the closest to a genuine normie that we ever had on one of these radio programs. He had his own special quirks and a certain role to fill on the show, but he unlike everyone else who was involved in this shock jock shows he really wasn't this overly eccentric character.

It was actually amazing to see how someone normal could navigate that environment and not get brought down to the level of the other participants.
