Work in progress

Remember those religious parent groups back in the day that got mad at everything from, edgy jokes, violent movies/video games, porn, and anything sexual. There still around they just rebranded themselves to solely focus on sexual content or “Anything harmful to children” and “stopping sex/human trafficking”

these shitty and shady censorship groups claim to help victims and try to stop Human/sex trafficking but all they are really doing is throwing hissy-fits at things they don’t like and trying to lobby to get rid of any speech they don't like (Including yours!) and trying to get rid of your human right to privacy online while stealing donations to use it on themselves and to sometimes buy prostitutes in Bangkok, or spend 1 million to on propaganda films while not really doing anything to help victims of sex trafficking in fact harming them by getting them arrested. While talking about how great of a person they are by posting straight-up uncensored child porn

(National Center On Sexual Exploitation) (formally Morallilty in Media and Operation Yorkville)
Where to begin let's start with “National Center On Sexual Exploitation” (formally known as Morality in Media) (formally known as Operation Yorkville)

Ever wondered why payment processors and huge social media companies tend to be too skittish when comes to certain types of people, you can thank these guys and exodus cry (but ill save them for later)

Their story starts in 1962 and started as Operation Yorkville by Father Morton A. Hill, basically a nobody, it was your typical puritan religious group nothing too special, Operation Yorkville was renamed to Morality in Media (MIM) in 1968 basically still the same shit, one of the funny things they did was that they tried to sue George Carlin for swearing on the radio, basically, nothing really special after that, though something funny that did happen was they tried to connect gay marriage to mass-shootings after the 2009 Binghamton shootings, though in 2010 after decreasing interest in censorship and typical puritan bullshit current CEO Robert W. Peters Jr reluctantly said

"the war is over and we have lost"

Now for where they are currently, 2015 new CEO Patrick A. Trueman was an attorney and a registered lobbyist. rebranded morality in media to what it is currently known as the “National Center On Sexual Exploitation” basically tried to give it a whole "feminist" branding to it and man, this is where it gets funny.

their main campaign is the so-called “dirty dozen list” where they throw hissy fits at Etsy for selling shirts, and Carls Jr, the Department of Defense, Walmart basically anyone.

The 90's are over. Get over your unresolved mommy and daddy issues.

And libertine boomer shitheads like George Carlin are a significant part of why we now live in such a fucked-up Clown World. The edgelords of yesteryear are all now Raging For the Machine.

Porn is disgusting and harmful, I've donated money to pretty much every group OP is whining about, and reading this thread makes me wanna do it again.

I expected this

I know this place isn't the most "progressive" place on the internet and don't really give a shit, but the reason I wanna make this thread is that this isn't about protecting porn, its about shedding light on groups that wanna remove our right to privacy and free speech and are slowly doing it because porn has become an easy target for these groups to mandate things like Digital IDS and wanting to scan or messages and removing who and who doesn't get an income.

Why this should worry even if you are anti-porn, when they get rid of porn everything is next.

If censorship is truly your concern, then the ghosts of the Fundies are the least of your worries.

Porn is going nowhere. Not in this shitty dystopia that considers itself persecuted if it's not allowed to have Kindergarten field trips to strip clubs.

McNamara adds that those meetings have resulted in “increasing some protections for children by improving systems to identify grooming behavior patterns, and no longer allowing adult strangers to send unsolicited direct messages for minors.
I fail to see what the problem is?
NCOSE's Extreme Anti-Porn Beliefs
"Boo hoo hoo, someone has a problem with the poison we're foisting on the public!"

And lol, sourcing from a pornopologist jizzrag. NCOSE are not lolcows, you're just an assmad coomer. Also, your OP is Flamin' Hot flavored garbage.

I know where you're coming from, but that freedom of expression, hippie utopia is gone. But you can sure shed light on the multiple hypocrisies of various cuckservatard and religulous puritan groups trying to ban various stuff, there is no rule that mocked communities must be left wing. God knows, rightoids are fucking insane too, and if we are to shape them into a workable political group, making fun of their mental disabilities is quite important.

You should probably check out that porn hub documentary on Netflix. Human trafficking negatively impacts legal sex work and makes it hard for consenting adults to make money from their work. They interview entertainers as well as anti porn advocates about how videos of CP and rape used to be scattered all across PH before authentication was mandatory.
Anyways I’ve never seen a bad anti human trafficking resource page. There are vulnerable people out there that need resources and help.

porn isn't really speech to begin with, it's literally video. Or sounds. Though sometimes text, I guess.

So unless you specifically mean literotica or whatever, porn shouldn't fall under freedom of "speech". Maybe freedom of expression, but since porn (often) requires multiple people, it's not really one person's "expression" neither imo. Different from a single person making a drawing, which concerns no one but the artist, and is therefore a form of expression. Same as music.

Freedom of speech is a more general term dude. If multiple people write a book it still counts as freedom of speech. Don't try to bring censorship through the window with technicalities.

Yeah, speech, either written or spoken.

But something filmed is just not speech, it's an act. They're doing things. Unless you specifically film a monologue, it's not freedom of speech.

I just don't see how porn falls under "freedom of speech" unless that term is essentially meaningless and can include literally everything. Because porn is nothing near "speech".

It's not a technicallity neither. Porn is as far away from the definition of "speech" as you can get. It's more of a technicallity to count it as that.
