These parents are essentially saying that they'd rather have a dead child than an Autistic one. They don't even seem to view the kids as their children, just as tools to use to further push their ridiculous vaccine conspiracies.

Just remember, "[they] love their children!" They absolutely despise their kids and are completely willing to make them endure needless suffering and perhaps even death solely because of their egos and narcissism.

Not to mention their "anti-government" stances tend to be total bullshit too. They'll demand waivers from vaccine laws...then turn around and demand benefits if their child is not perfect. They want everything their way with no accountability.

I guess these crazy people exist for animals too?

I bought a van a few weeks ago from some weird guy. Seemed mid 30s Lived in the middle of the woods with his mom. Proudly unemployed/unemployable. Also had multiple facial piercings made from what looked like pieces of sticks he carved himself.

Apparently he's married and bought the van behind his wife's back with her money to try making a hippie van. She was forcing him to sell it to get her money back.

All was going well until my girlfriend mentioned we had to get on our way so she could take her cat in for shots. This guy started going off about autism and toxins and all kinds of stuff. Saying how he always took his previous pets to "holistic pet healing" events instead of the vet. About how sure, the events cost like $800 to go, but that's because they teach you how to heal your pet with oils and rubs and such. It's so expensive because they only need to see you once and never again because your lucky pet will be healthy for life and you'll never need to come back.

Guy gave me a piece of paper with a bunch of names of books and websites scrawled on it, then told me that instead of paying his wife back completely, he was instead going to pay $500-600 of it for "healing" of his dog's dental issues.

Fucking nuts.

Also, the dog's name was "Daysprings" or something.

Every Friday in my town this bunch of old hippies holds an anti-war/anti-capitalism protest outside the federal building. Unsurprisingly it also attracts a bunch of Jesus freaks and conspiracy theorists who like to hold up big signs.

I walk through it on my way home from work and there's always this one anti-vax protester I see with a sign depicting a cross-section of a kid's head. In the middle of the brain there's that pyramid with the eye that shows up on the back of every US dollar; you know, the one that crazy people think represents the illuminati or something. Somehow this guy thinks that vaccines are an illuminati conspiracy meant to mind-control kids.

It's always fun to see crazy crossover in real life.
