There is an entry in the shooter's diary (not manifesto) that mentions the name Joshua Conner Moon with no real context other than a set of photographs earlier in the entry (where Chris Chan can be seen though he is not named).

I don’t think @pointsdecorate meant that guests can report DMs. Users can report DMs they get, but guests have no DMs to report. I think they mean to say that guests can report anything they see on the public portions of the site. I forget if there is a report option for guests or not, but there is a public contact page at the bottom of the site. You don’t need an account (that is, you can be a guest) and report a post to staff through an email. One just has to include a direct link to the offending post.

I don't think most guests are going to go through the effort of emailing Null to report a post.

Anyways, forum DMs can create similar issues to what he mentioned here:

I don't remember the details right now, but I remember reading about a few different scandals surrounding ERP DM chains on Kiwifarms. I think there were plans to change how DMs worked though.
