So does anyone have any good ideas to spice up my Mac n cheese? I'm thinking about making some later this week but seeing as I make it a lot I'm wanting to make it different..

Salsa,hot sauce,garlic.

Never had hot sauce and garlic in it, but we sometimes put in salsa and tuna in mac 'n' cheese. Apparently it's something my dad had made up as a teenager, but it might be a legit recipe/idea he got from somewhere.

I actually mix tuna with knorrs teriyaki side mix and canned veggies when I'm lazy as f.

I usually use sour cream in my cheese sauces instead of heavy cream. I find the texture works better, the tang is nice, and it's cheaper. velveeta-type stuff is usually helpful for getting weirder things to stay mixed a bit better, but you don't want to make it the star

various things to try
different cheese
paprika
other (or additional) greases than butter, like bacon or beef drippings
horseradish
hot sauces you like
jalapeno powder
cayenne powder
mustard
adobo
bread crumbs (after the sauce is melted, esp if it's too heavy on grease and separating

Use mac and cheese as a topping on a sausage on a bun, with some spicy ketchup and mustard. One of my favorite local bars does this, and it’s the bomb.
