I pine for a simpler time. A time one had to call a girl on a landline and politely ask her mother to speak to her. A time it was her mother most likely to answer as secretarial duties such as answering the house phone were her responsibility...

Sigh.

Breaking things won't bring anything back. But a man can still check out briefly by going to the mountains and sitting by the fire for a few days with no reception.
